Interviewed Jun 2009 in New York, NY (took a day)
It was extremely corporate. I met first with a recruiter and then with two people in the department. They had scheduled the three interviews in succession and we were kept to a schedule. That said, I appreciated their efforts to have me meet everyone on one day. Suspect that it would be a fine company to work for, though as stated the environment was very corporate.

Interviewed Feb 2010 (took a day)
Walked in with application filled out and resume a manager reviewed it and told me she would forward to the store manager. Was called back after about a week and interviewed with store manager. She was very nice but the interview was very short. She wanted me to interview with another manager. This other manager asked me a couple questions then I had to fill out background check paperwork. Then a week later the store manager called and offered me the job.

Just one interview and took a week to get back and a week from that to start working. Total training process lasted one day. They were very quick and needed more people because a couple had just left.

Interviewed Nov 2009 in Vienna, VA (took a day)
A friend had been working at the store in Tysons Corner for a couple years and I was told that a few seasonal slots were going to open up from November until January. So I turned in my application and a few days later they called me with an offer, I accepted. No actual interview took place, no questions of sales experience etc...

Interviewed Mar 2008 (took 4 days)
Group interview, which was something I hadn't before experienced. They didn't seem to take my educational background into consideration before the hire, or even really prepare for the interview. Maybe they were desperate for help at the time, but the entire process was short and simple, although I was the only hire from my group of 7, so maybe my perception is skewed.

Interviewed Mar 2009 in Toronto, ON (Canada) (took 1+ week)
Applied in-person, filling out an application form including background check. Invited to a group interview with 6 other candidates where the store manager asks a question and we have an open discussion. Trick is to be outspoken while not coming off too aggressive.

Interviewed Jul 2007 in Las Vegas, NV (took 2 weeks)
I was offered an interview almost immediately after applying in person at the Forum Shop's store.
The assistant manager was very condescending towards me, belittling everything I had to say.
For some odd reason she offered me a second interview and I stupidly accepted it.
The second time around I was interviewed by the store manager, I believe till this day is still the store manager.
That interview didn't go any better than the first, he also condescended my every word. He told me the first interviewer had nothing good to say about me and that he could see why. If I wasn't good enough why the heck did they give me a second interview and made me waste my time?!
