Interviewed Oct 2011 in Toronto, ON (Canada) (took 1+ week)
The group interview was very standard for retail positions. We talked the brands we like (are loyal to), a good customer service experience we've previously had, a time when we had to learn something new and how did that go, what makes people want to come back to a store. And we each had to sell an item we had with us, so I attempted to sell the coach bag I had with me to the store manager and she seemed very pleased with my brand knowledge. I found out I was hired and so was the other girl in the group with me, and we were the only ones showed up in the dress code specified by the manager when we handed in our resume in the store.

No, I put down an expected salary on the application form, which is a bit higher than the minimum wage here in Ontario and the manager said she will offer it to me right away.

Called and spoke to a manager, she asked me a few questions on the phone (work experience, customer service questions). For the one on one interview she was very kind and asked me great questions.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Chicago, IL (took 1 week)
The interviewer was very friendly and her questions were pretty basic. Example, what's your work ethic? What's your background? Etc. There's a role play, you showed how you would sell to the customer. It was fun.

Walk-in to apply and talked directly to manager. She asked me to tell her a little about myself and asked why I wanted to work at Coach. Still need to go back with filled out application.

Interviewed May 2011 in Little Rock, AR (took a day)
i found the interview to be one of the better ones i have had. im not saying this because i thought i did well, i really appreciated the questions asked. i have never been asked to explain my work ethic before, and i think a question like that is a good way to weed people out. the manager that i interviewed with was very honest about the type of buisness she likes to run. its a very sales orriented place. they want you to met your goals, and they give you lots of ways to get it done.

Interviewed Jun 2009 in Toronto, ON (Canada) (took a day)
You are invited to a group interview with about 5 other candidates. The Hiring Manager asks a question and then each candidate takes turn answering them. I found the interview to be quite easy-going and the questions were simple. I received a call 2 days later and accepted the offer. Remember to focus on customer service and how you are able to develop relationships with customers. The employees are all very friendly and fun to work with. As a new employee, you tend to get the least convenient hours, but that will change once you have worked there longer. After your yearly performance review, you can ask your Manager for a raise.

Interviewed Oct 2009 (took 1 week)
The interview process was fairly simple. I had an initial interview with the store manager and then a 2nd interview with the another manager. If you have retail experience you should be fine. They asked alot of behavioral type questions to see how youd handle different retail scenarios. Everyone seemed happy to be there and professional. Since staff members are prodominately female, the work culture can get catty at times.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Costa Mesa, CA (took 1 week)
Turned in application then had to go to a group interview the next morning. it was a group interview and it went well. just felt that they were more interested in looks than anything else. one of the girls who came in late and i don't think turned in an application yet was told to stay back as well as a couple others but i dont know why she was told to stay because she didnt say anything special there were others that were more qualified. one of the interviewer was a young person who was obviously into her looks and she was the same person who was eyeballing me the day before.
