Account Manager Interview (Positive Experience; Difficult Interview)
I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Coca-Cola Company in November 2013.
Interview Details – Initial phone interview conducted by HR. General questions relating to qualifications and background. Also received a modicum of information on the job during this call. Second interview was face to face with 2 direct managers and an unknown senior authority who was present but not interactive. The interview lasted 1 hour and there were role play scenarios played out towards the end of the interview.
Interview Question – Tell me a situation where you had a difficult customer or employee and how did you handle that situation? View Answer
Negotiation Details – The offer was greater than my personal expectations and requirements. I declined to negotiate based on this position.
Account Manager Interview (Positive Experience; Easy Interview)
I applied online and the process took 2+ weeks - interviewed at Coca-Cola Company.
Interview Details – Standard phone screening about a half a week after I applied. Was called back by the end of that week to set up an interview time. Interview was pretty standard, although there was a role play where you had to be the Account Manager and sell to a store owner. (The role play is nothing like the job actually is.) Interview took about an hour or so.
Interview Question – All of the questions were standard aside from the role play. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I did not negotiate. The pay and benefits seemed fair at the time of hire.
Sales Interview (Neutral Experience)

Interview Details – Behavioral based interview questions
Interview Question – You must provide a full "STAR" answer in order for the interviewer to score the candidate on each particular competency. State the Situation/Task, your Actions and what were the Results. Unless you respond with a full STAR answer, they will continue to redirect until they get the whole STAR. This is very uncomfortable if you are not prepared for behavioral based questions. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I accepted over 10 years ago.
Account Executive Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied online - interviewed at Coca-Cola Company in October 2013.
Interview Details – Call to qualify, then standard Panel interview (star format)
Interview Question – Describe a time when you had to work as a project lead, what was the situation, task, action and result Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Outside there is some room for negotiation depending on candidate pool - internally...good luck with that!
Market Development Manager Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 2+ weeks - interviewed at Coca-Cola Company in March 2014.
Interview Details – Applied Online. Contacted by an outside recruiter a couple weeks later. Had an initial phone screening with the recruiter followed by a face-to-face interview with two hiring managers.
Interview Question – The interview was not difficult and had some pretty basic questions. After the questions you're asked to role play a specific customer/sales rep scenario. Answer Question
Supervisor Interview (Neutral Experience)
I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Coca-Cola Company.
Interview Details – Called by HR rep for short interview and was invited to do a phone interview with hiring manager
Interview Question – Nothing crazy. All leadership based but all questions had 4 or 5 sub-questions and were in the format of "Tell me a time when you _____, how did you react, what was the outcome, etc. Answer Question
Very Easy Interview
Merchandiser Interview (Positive Experience; Very Easy Interview)
I applied online and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Coca-Cola Company in March 2014.
Interview Details – The process took 3 to 5 days. The mangers asked a lot of questions about employment history and skills.
Interview Question – Very simple questions. Answer Question
Project Manager Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 3 months - interviewed at Coca-Cola Company in March 2012.
Interview Details – There is a very structured hiring/interview process. The recruiter contacted me when I was selected for an interview. The interview process did not start until around 3 months after I applied online. At least 5 internal & external candidates are selected to interview for each job. The interview was a panel interview with a STAR format for the behavioral questions. After the interview, the recruiter contacted me to let me know that I was being offered the job.
Interview Question – Give an example of when you purposely set a goal that you knew would be difficult to achieve? What was the outcome? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Salary negotiations were with the recruiter & they have guidelines based on the level of the job. The offer package was mailed to my house for signatures. There is a background check that takes up to 10 days to clear before you can start.
Administrative Assistant Interview (Neutral Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Coca-Cola Company in March 2014.
Interview Details – The interviewing panel was very friendly. They asked standard interview questions. It was in the new IT building downtown which was very hard to navigate but once I found the court place I was greeted immediately. From start to finish it only took about seven days so it was a very prompt and easy interviewing process. I was expecting but was surprised to have no STAR type questions asked.

Content Manager Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Coca-Cola Company in February 2014.
Interview Details – I was contacted by Talent Acquisition to schedule an in-person interview. I met with two people, including hiring manager, in person and met with two people over the phone. I was told at the end of my interview that they would contact the top candidate(s) for an interview with the boss' boss. I was contacted the following Monday for a phone follow-up interview with the boss' boss which was very brief and to the point. I was then called two weeks later with an offer.
Interview Question – The questions are pretty straight-forward and they do an excellent job preparing you with the STAR system. Just make sure to review the information they provide as far as core competencies and you should do fine. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – No room for negotiation and it wasn't needed, as they made a generous offer.
