It wasn't very difficult.Iam a mechanical engineer and so i was questioned in technical side.simple questions like 1.function of differential,2.newton's three laws,3.kaizen,4.sixsigma,5.y cant petrol be used in diesel engine and vice versa,etc
then HR questions like y choosing IT field being a mechanical engineer,tell me about yourself,then some questions related to what i told him.It seemed like a stress interview.but not very tough.

As it was a campus interview and as i have known already about salary and other stuff,there wasnt anything to negotiate.But its always better not to talk about the salary in the interview if your not a experienced candidate.

It basicallly had a IQ/Intelligence test which was used mainly for screening out candidates.Immediately followed up by a 1:1 interview that lasted half an hour.Purely technical interview.

I applied to Web analytics division of CTS Chennai through an employee of Cognizant. I was called for the interview along with my resume. They asked me why did I choose the web analytics division when I was from Civil engineering. They have seen my previous web analytics related works. And some related technical questions were asked. They asked to present a presentation on the analysis of couple of websites to test my analytical and presentation skills. I was interviewed by Asst. Manager - Projects and Associate-Projects. The interview consisted both HR and Tech questions. Both of them were friendly.

I went for an sheduled interview and selected in Technical Interview. Then next HR round happens. After 2 days they asked me to send all scanned documents of Academics and Past experiences. So I was expecting offer letter. But again I got a regret letter from HR saying my profile was not suitable for their position. Belive me the problem might be due to CTC not for any reason.
