I applied through college or university and the process took 1 week - interviewed at College Pro Painters in October 2009.
Interview Details – The initial group 'interview' was more of an informational session where they panel consisted of the company's General manager and a few students from my University who had experience working for the company and were returning as managers for the position I was offered.
The main thing they wanted to know was why you wanted to work for them and why you thought you would be a good fit for the company. Apparently why you would be a good fit for the company was more important because I didn't want to work for them I more or less just wanted interview experience. But I had worked on a crew for a similar company so they knew that I understood their business structure and could do well in their company.
The second 1 on 1 interview was with a manager from my state not my university and had questions based on basic problem solving and managing.
Interview Question – Why do you think you would be a good fit in for our company? View Answer
Reason for Declining – I've had bad experience with similar companies.
