Interviewed May 2010 (took 2 days)
This was a very easy interview process, but getting a job at this university feels virtually impossible if you don't know someone in the right department. In theory, once you're hired you have a good chance of staying, but that hasn't been what I've observed.

Interviewed Mar 2012 in Aurora, CO (took a day)
Well CU does have great plans for the recreation center but were completely naive of needed facts to attract real fitness professionals. The fitness manager could not tell me how many trainers were going to be hired; or the hours that will be expected. He stated nobody would receive full time hours; in order to avoid giving benefits. He couldn't even tell me what to expect as far as compensation.

Reason for Declining
Too many unanswered questions. I have been in the industry for several years and was not going to risk taking a job not knowing the hours, pay, or even start date. Give me a break! You're looking for professionals right?

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Fort Collins, CO (took 2 days)
A phone interview with hiring person and his immediate supervisor. Asked a few questions about my background and work, pretty straightforward. On the on-site interview, I gave a presentation and was deeply challenged on a few of my points, which I enjoyed. I was glad to see people cared and would speak up when they disagreed with something.
