Interviewed Aug 2011 (took 4+ weeks)
The interview seemed like a formality to the two managers that interviewed me, things started off bad and went downhill from there. I was first interviewed by a middle manager and department head, the middle manager did all of the talking during the interview (what little there was) while the department head sat at the table and stared off into outer space. The middle manager came off as if he couldn't be bothered interviewing me, there was very little Q&A and it was like pulling teeth to find out any specifics about the job.
After half an hour the two managers left the room for a few minutes then came back in and said that was all then in mid sentence, changed there minds and wanted to meet with there boss. He sauntered in about 25 minutes later sat down and said "well you wanna work at Comcast Cable... " and just sat there and said nothing else. I replied that I did and very professionally explained why etc... He sat there and I could tell he was just going thru the motions so I ended the conversation after 5 minutes, and said I guess this is it, thanks for your time and he walked me out of the building.
Needless to say I was completely taken aback by this entire experience, I have been on many interviews and have interviewed many people and I have to say I have never ever been through anything like that! Everyone was very unprofessional and the HR department was unresponsive and inept. I don't know how other areas of Comcast are run but the cable division in NJ leaves a lot to be desired.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Sarasota, FL (took a day)
Applied online, in a week got a call, had a phone interview with HR first. The HR manager asked me about my previous work experience and why I want to work for Comcast. She also asked what do I expect for pay. I told her I'm open to discuss and then she tells me that position pays $12.25 per hour to start which was fine with me. Next i had to do an online survey and a timed IQ/skills test as the first selection process. A few days later I got called for an interview. It consisted of a panel of 3 supervisors and lasted an hour long. Lots of behavioral questions and some about my previous work experience. They all said that I'm overqualified for the position and they all like me but its not up to them to hire and they will recommend me and pass the information to the next level. We'll see what happens next shortly.

1st I submitted a application through comcast.com, 2 weeks later contacted for a phone interview at which time i was told I need to go online and take 2 test (in my email there was a direct link to the test), waited like 3 days and got called for a interview 8 days from the call, went in and interviewed with two installlation managers, asked about experience, your average interview questions, safety questions, seemed very thorough. Waited 2 weeks and got called to go do my drug screen and background check. week and a half later was offered employment, start date...in 2 weeks, but i'm still grateful for the opportunity
