I interviewed with three managers first. Then I had to take a skill assessment test. After this I had to do a peer to peer interview with three other employees that would be working in my department just at a different location. After this process it took two days for me to get a call back with an offer.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Community Health Systems.

    Interview Details

First there was a phone interview with the leads then an in-person interview. Only one interview in-person. The staff seemed pretty relaxed and interested in what I was saying. The most important thing for them was that employees be willing to travel up to 100%.

    Interview Questions
    • The most difficult question was "what would you bring to our team?". I know that sounds like it would be simple but I have heard that is a very important question. I think they are really looking for team players with good personalities and people with a good work ethic. Those things are important because you spend so much time with each other. It has to be a good fit.   Answer Question

    Business Systems Analyst Interview

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ weeksinterviewed at Community Health Systems.

    Interview Details

They want you to go through several phone interviews, and then they also want you to attend two face to face board-type interviews; one with the management team, and one with your peers. Getting the details and scheduling for the on-site interview takes time. CHS is also trying to cut costs, while I am informed that at least one senior member of the company made over $14,000,000.00 last year.

    Interview Questions
    • Questions that were covered/addressed during the phone interviews, the results of which were not communicated to other members of the interviewer team. -- Questions that made you look unknowledgeable or unqualified for the position to the uninformed hiring manager.   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
I was originally told I would be paid $76,000 to lure me in, then after the interview, I was offered $74,500. I negotiated up $1,000 to receive $75,000.00 plus $500.00 in relocation expenses. (Which was ridiculous)
