Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 2 weeks)
Was contacted by a Recruiter a couple of times before i called back. He was very thorough in explaining the company to me, and was very excited about Compuware. He conducted a phone screen with me asking about my experience, skill sets and goals. He emailed me a link to complete the online application. He made sure to stay in contact with me throughout the couple of weeks process as to keep me in the loop. Went through a face to face interview with the local hiring manager & a phone interview with his boss. Was offered the job and filled out all of the new hire information through the online system they use which was a lot easier than filling it all out by hand. Took my drug test and started the job a couple of weeks later. Quick turn around & a very smooth recruiting process.

Compensation was discussed in the first phone conversation. I was able to express what i would like to make and what they would be willing to offer for the position. By the time an offer was presented I had already known what my salary was going to be and i was 100% comfortable and satisfied with it.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Detroit, MI (took 1 week)
I had been consulting as a project manager on a contract basis, and was asked to contribute to a RFQ response, to which I was asked to include myself. When we won the competitive bid, I was asked to interview for the position I had helped to develop in our proposal. My competency set and work ethic and personal workstyle were pretty well iknown at that point. A couple of meetings withe Regional Director and Program Director provided some background on the position, which is a hybrid of several skills sets with an emphasis on retail automotive consulting. Very professional, very pleasant process, with a lot of emphasis on culture and commitment to client service.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Maidenhead, England (United Kingdom) (took 2 months)
The initial approach was professional and encouraged further discussion with management. The meetings with management were well organised and the proposition and values of the company were communicated well. As I result I made the commitment to join the company following the solution presentation to the key decision makers including management, HR and technical groups.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Detroit, MI (took a day)
Interview process went ok except I had to wait 2 months before getting an assignment. The recruiter was helpful, calling weekly to give an update. Then when I received the assignment it wasn't anything to do with what I hired in for.

Interviewed Apr 2009 (took 2 days)
The interviewer was ill prepared. She acted as if she had better things to do, like I was inconviencing her. She was asking questions that had nothing to do with the job or my experience. I know many interviewers ask the crazy "sell me this magic pen or if you were an animal what would you be/" question, but when she talked endless about lunch and how hungry she was, it left a bad taste in my mouth. Not a good first impression for the company.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Milwaukee, WI (took 2 weeks)
Recruiter needs to organize her time better and be more considerate of others time. Initial phone interview was cancelled literally w/in 1 hour of the scheduled time. Subsequent interview scheduled was over 45 minutes late. Not a good representation of your company. Early bird gets the worm as I was hired by another company in the midst of the scheduling errors.

If the tables were reversed I would have not been taken in to consideration for the position being having been late TWO times. As a potential employee I am your money maker and should have been more considerate of my time. Insincere apology received.
Suggestion - Recruiter should take some communication and time management classes.
