Interviewed Sep 2010 (took 4+ weeks)
Applied online for a two-week job. About two weeks later I got a phone call/screening interview. I was told I would be contacted by another person for a 1:1 interview. Three weeks later I was invited to an in-person interview. I was told on the spot that I had the job after I passed a drug test. I went straight to the drug test and left a sample. I did not hear from them again until just before the job was supposed to start. I finally called them. They said that I had passed the drug test and they had "forgot" to send me instructions on where/when to report for work. It was too late, and I don't want to work for someone like that. Not even for two weeks. Too long between phone and 1:1 interview, and WAY too silly to "forget" to notify someone when to work.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in Louisville, KY (took 3 weeks)
My initial impression was that the company was action-oriented and progressive, due to the speed of scheduling the interview, and the above average use of technology in the screening and hiring process. However, the management representatives presented themselves poorly in appearance, unprofessional etiquette, disorganization, lack of follow through, mistakes, and unresponsiveness. I came away from the experience disappointed and confused. I wonder about the company culture, the quality of managerial leadership, and the ability of the company to handle nationwide HR functions from the home office in Texas. It seems like a house of cards. Hard to believe Humana has purchased this company - however I'm sure that wasn't based on it's internal operations, but rather to extend it's reach into urgent care and other venues.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Lincoln, NE (took 2+ weeks)
The interview process was fairly fast paced. I had a Phone interview and was then asked to come in foe a 1 on 1. The 1 on 1 consisted of meeting with the regional manager who would have been my direct boss. At that time I was giving the tour of the facility and introduced to the individuals to whom I would be working with. The position was explained in detail and the interviewer was very honest and informative about the opportunity. I was then asked to come back for a meeting exclusively with the staff for them to meet me and to be evaluated. I was told it was down 2 people and in the end they went with the other individual due to he have medical experience. The company has been through some ups and downs and I got the feeling they are transitioning from the account manager types to more aggressive closers. I got the feeling from the current staff that they were not happy with any change due to the previous girl was there for 5 years and was let go. Hope this helps.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Addison, TX (took 2 weeks)
After my resume was submitted, I was called for a phone interview with the IT director and IT manager. A week later I was asked to schedule a face to face panel interview then 2 days later asked to do a third interview with the stakeholder that I would be working with. The Managers are very nice and the interview was not difficult to me, they just asked a lot of senerio questions and just about my experience. The office is nice and the people seemed laid back.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Dallas, TX (took 2 days)
I was told by the recruiter that Concentra does a quick 15 minute screening interview and then if you make it to the next round, a panel interview will occur at their facility. That was fine with me. But what took place was not as advertised. When I arrived I quickly found out that the interviews were close to an hour behind (there were several other ladies in front of me). And the person they were currently interviewing had been in there for almost an hour (so much for the 15 minute screen). To make a long story short they decided on that person and it didn't matter who else walked through that door, it was a done deal. They then gave the rest of us a 5 minute 'interview' and out the door we went. I saw one person about to cry.
I'm sure we all spent a great deal of time getting ready for the interview (not to mention the hour wait) so I would have expected professional courtesy to prevail. But it did not.
I found a job with another company but still have a bad taste in my mouth from this 'interview'. How they are to work for, I don't know. But I found their actions troubling.

Interviewed Mar 2009 in Addison, TX (took 4+ weeks)
I applied for Java Developer position by the end of Jan 2009 and I got an email from the Application Development manager for scheduling an initial Phone screening. The phone interview was done by a panel of 3 members. After a week, I got another email saying that they have to wait for another 3 weeks before a decision is made. Within 1 hr I got another email saying asking me to come for on site interview.
I was bit confused about whats going on but still went for on site interview which was held a week later.
It was a panel interview. A week after the on site interview, I was called again by the project manager. He said he is really happy with my performance and wanted to bring me in. He asked me to come for another personal interview. I went in for another personal interview and it was also a panel interview.
After that I dint hear back from them. When I followed up they said the position is filled.
So I had 1 telephone interview and 2 on site interviews. All were technical interviews.
