Warehouseman at Conn's

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Beaumont, TX Aug 2009 – Reviewed Apr 6, 2013

Interview Details – I called and they told me to fill out an application and I did. Talked to the HR guy that day. They told me I was interviewing for a warehouse management position, I had been a warehouseman before and I had just graduated college. I was not going to be a wharehouseman again, or so I thought. Told me someone else would call me in a few days. He did, asked me about my previous experience, did I ever manage people before. Asked me about my criminal record, all the normal stuff. Then I guess they forgot and I called them a week later, they told me to come in and they gave me the job. Little did I know, all the stuff about a warehouse manager was BS, and I was a warehouseman when I actually started working.

Interview Question – Don't remember any.   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – I didn't negotiate.

Sales Associate at Conn's

No Offer – Interviewed in San Antonio, TX Jul 2011 – Reviewed Jul 9, 2011

Interview Details – I applied online and recieved a phone call interview in the same day. A one on one interview was scheduled for a couple of days later. The one on one seemed like they just wanted to make sure I was visually appealing and approachable. Overall the interview questions for both the phone call and one on one were not difficult.

Customer Service Representative at Conn's

No Offer – Interviewed in Dallas, TX May 2009 – Reviewed Jun 30, 2009

Interview Details – I was contacted by Conns Electronics on a Monday and was setup for interview on that coming Thursday. I was on time for interview that was scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and i was about an hour early. I was interviewed once and waited for second interview. About three weeks later I was contacted again by the same company but to my surprise they were trying to contact me about another position within their establishment and had no idea I had already been interviewed previously for other position. When I told the lady from HR i had already been interviewed for another position she said she would get back with me and let me know what was the outcome of my ionterview she never called back, and when i waited about two days and called back she said she still had'nt heard anyhthing about whether i was even considered for employment. I really want some output on this as to what i could have done wrong or why i was not contacted back.

Interview Question – Would there be anything to stop me from being able to work the hours available.   View Answer
