Interviewed Jul 2011 in Orlando, FL (took a day)
I went to a local job fair in Orlando. Mostly entry-level paying positions, which I was not interested in with my experience and qualifications. Introduced myself to one of the employees at their booth. He started giving the spiel about the jobs they were hiring for and I stopped him and said I was looking for full-time permanent management positions as I handed him my resume. He said they were not there hiring for management, but would take my resume to the proper person.
I was not expecting to hear back, however, a week later the Talent Acquisition Manager called me to schedule an interview with two different divisions. I went to the 1:1 interviews the next day. I was offered one of the jobs a few hours later, and a week later I was offered the job I really wanted. This was the easiest job interview I have ever had in my life!
I am used to this : phone interview first, then 1:1 interview, next panel interview, followed by online personality and skills test. For management level positions at Connextions, your personality and management skills of product and people are most important.
I took my time to choose which manager I felt the most comfortable working with day in and day out. If you want something, you need to go after it. I landed this job because I made myself look good to the representative at the $7-9 hour job fair. I have applied to over 10,000 jobs in the last two years trying to find a finacially stable company with plenty of room for promotion and I found one that was willing to take a chance on me and they will not regret it!

Negotiation Details
No, I tried to negotiate the rate, however, they were stern, which I understand in this economy without me proving my worth to them yet. Within a year I will be able to move into an Operations Manager position and increase my salary by at least 50%. I have a lot of real-world experience and a Master's degree, but I am not stupid enough to worry about the pay within the first year. Just prove your worth to a company and usually if it is a great company they will see your worth. If not, then move on to somewhere else.
Other Details
I applied In-Person and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview, a Drug Test and a Background Check.
