ConocoPhillips Global Procurement Intern Interview student candidate

Posted Sep 18, 2012

Accepted Offer – Reviewed Sep 18, 2012

Interview Details – Internship recruiting was via the university. General information sessions, career fairs along with a night prior with recruiters. The interview for the internship was just one round and it was 30 minutes with one recruiter, then another 30 minutes with another recruiter. All behavioral questions, COP really wants to get to know the candidates and what type of problems / work you have encountered before. All the recruiters are professionals in the related field, so everyone that I met were from the procurement functions. It is good to understand the basics of the upstream business prior to the interview. HR does a good job with follow ups.

Interview Question – The interview questions were all fairly standard. Communication problems, team work related questions. It is best to come up with questions on your own to ask and understand the role.   Answer Question

Other Details - I applied through campus recruiting and the process took 4+ weeks.
