Interviewed Nov 2011 in Auburn Hills, MI (took 5 weeks)
The first step in the process consisted of an interview with the HR department consisting of basic behavioral and background experience questions as well as a discussion about the opportunities with Continental. After passing the HR selection you are matched with potential hiring managers and have phone interviews with each of the interested parties. They discuss position specific details and ask some more technically specific questions. The last stage in the interview process consists of an onsite interview with individual and group activities as well as assessments and manager interviews.

Interviewed Jul 2011 (took 2 weeks)
Had one phone interview where I was asked mostly questions about my experience, character and background. The interview lasted about 15 minutes.
This was followed by an on-site interview 2 weeks later. This time I was interviewed in person, first by the Manager of the department and then by the Director.
Questions included:
1) What's your pricing strategies for this fuel injector?
2) If you are running late on a report deadline for a client, would you A) Submit it on time despite it being incomplete, or B) Submit a completed report late. Why?
3) Have you ever encountered a situation of conflict caused by people of different culture and backgrounds?
How did you respond to it?
4) Do you prefer a constant or inconsistent workload?
Overall it was a pleasant experience. The interviewers were friendly and made me feel comfortable.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in Auburn Hills, MI (took a day)
The interview consisted of the Sr. staffing specialist, global sales manager as well as the director of sales. They asked for an overview of my resume, each individual asked a number of questions: where do you see yourself in five years, why would you be a good suit for position, what sets you apart from the other candidates, what do you know about the company, where did the company originate, where are the headquarters located, if you were the expect and felt a project was head in the wrong direction what would you do, how would you deal with employees that were resistant to change, describe a time you were under pressure what was the outcome and how did you go about achieving it. They were looking for a self starter one that could manage multiple tasks at once also wanted someone who dealt with customers over the phone.
