Interviewed Mar 2010 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took 2 weeks)
Telephone interview was handled by a retained search firm based in Richmond who have impressed me with their level of professionalism throughout the process.
It is mandatory for all job applicants to take the 'Hogan' behavioural test, at least in sales anyway.
1.1 interview was with the Head of New Business Sales. Overall a very intellectually stimulating experience where abilty to sell and communicate at a high/strategic level is extensivley explored
Other Details
I got the interview through a Staffing Agency and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, an IQ/Intelligence Test and a Personality Test.

Interviewed Jan 2008 in Arlington, VA (took 3 weeks)
One standard HR phone interview (walk me through your resume, career goals, why CEB? etc). I never met the HR person. They lost some of the documents submitted prior to the interview so I had to resubmit them.
Three one-on-one interviews (same day) with three different employees (2 consultants and one manager). I presented my resume and then solved three cases. The cases were not very difficult and did not require hard quantitative skills or finance/business knowledge. Be prepared to come up with numbers and justify any step in your analysis as they are looking to see how you think. They don't care about the final solution , they just want to know how you think. People were nice and friendly.

Interviewed Nov 2009 in Washington, DC (took a day)
There were many other people interviewing for the same position. It seems like they are constantly hiring for this position. The asked some very awkward questions that I was not prepared for -- i.e. What other jobs are you applying to. The job also seemed to be a gloried solicitor, which was masked very well.

Interviewed Apr 2008 in Arlington, VA (took 4+ weeks)
1st round was over the phone with a recruiter and consisted of your basic behavioral Qs. Next round, I interviewed live with two hiring managers and shadowed an associate in-seat. More in depth Qs (eg, sell me somthing in the room)

Interviewed Jan 2008 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took 2+ weeks)
By all accounts mine was a singular experience and not that enjoyed by most joining CEB who have a fairly standard process. So if you want to know what a potential interview process with CEB is like this wont apply.
I had a fairly singular set of experience so missed most of the steps and generally was 1:1 interviews about what I had done and how I could help them to start a new business line.

Interviewed Aug 2008 in Arlington, VA (took a day)
Sent applciation through someone who already worked there and heard back for a phone interview within a few days. After passing the phone interview, I was asked to come in for a series of 1:1 interviews within a few more days. Recruiting process was very robust, professional, and fast. Very nice change of pace from weeks or months long processes at other organizations.
Three 1:1 interviews in one day, including the manager I ended up working for. Standard behavioral interview questions. HR was not present for interviews. Each took 30 minutes. Some odd questions were thrown in to see how I would respond, so be ready for anything. The culture is extremely young, so don't be surprised if you are interviewed by people in their 20s.

Negotiation Details
Non negotiable offer, even though it was not a starter job. Entire process was quick and professional. Pay was fine, but bonus potential was excellent.

Interviewed Jan 2008 (took 1 week)
Your best bet for getting a job here is to know someone inside and to be referred. Each hiring manager/function area will be looking for very distinct "mold".
Most positions are filled via internal networking.
This is truly a Fraternity/Sorority environment, which is not necessarily a bad thing. All this means is that most people here are outwardly expressive and very social. CEB is comprised of highly motivated individuals who are all striving to be at the top of their game (no matter which function area).
A) Simple 45min Phone screen (I had been well prepared by 4 current employees)
B) Flight out to D.C. to interview. 3 separate rounds each about 30min. Behavioral Based.
Culture: Fast-paced and ever changing. Become accustomed to a particular vagueness in well-defined "roles".
US Office environments:
Arlington, VA HQ: Sharp and polished individuals. "Shark tank"
Chicago, IL: This office is still very young and still developing an identity. Mostly comprised of Sales staff.
San Francisco, CA: More relaxed office known to get the job done. Early departures.

Interviewed Sep 2007 in Washington, DC (took 2 months)
Company was really disorganized.
Interviewers had not read resume.
HR took forever to get back on next steps, even though the answer was to move forward.
First, step was phone interview by HR junior person who know little about job, but wants to see you demonstrate 3 things--intellegence, selling skills, can you present, and do they like you.
Second step what very formal interview and mock presentation--very bizarre, they want you to memorize a speech and repeate it word for word.
Final step a couple of meet and greets with middle managers.

Don't let title fool you. This company gives away titles as an alternative to real decision making and competitve salary and bonus.
Make sure you understand exactly how many people will directly report to you.
Make sure you get in writing their bonus/variable compensation structure.
Take every comment they make about size of bonsuses, salary increases, value of benefit package and multiply it by 20% to get the actual number--everyone who joined around me had the same experience--promises that turned out to be vapor.
