Interviewed Sep 2007 in Washington, DC (took 2 months)
Company was really disorganized.
Interviewers had not read resume.
HR took forever to get back on next steps, even though the answer was to move forward.
First, step was phone interview by HR junior person who know little about job, but wants to see you demonstrate 3 things--intellegence, selling skills, can you present, and do they like you.
Second step what very formal interview and mock presentation--very bizarre, they want you to memorize a speech and repeate it word for word.
Final step a couple of meet and greets with middle managers.
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
Don't let title fool you. This company gives away titles as an alternative to real decision making and competitve salary and bonus.
Make sure you understand exactly how many people will directly report to you.
Make sure you get in writing their bonus/variable compensation structure.
Take every comment they make about size of bonsuses, salary increases, value of benefit package and multiply it by 20% to get the actual number--everyone who joined around me had the same experience--promises that turned out to be vapor.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Presentation and a Skills Test.
