Very Easy Interview
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 5+ months - interviewed at Costco Wholesale in June 2013.
Interview Details – The interview itself was fairly standard. During my interview, I had two people interviewing me together, one I believe was the hiring manager while the other was a store manager. They asked me several questions regarding handling customers, how to effectively deal with the swathes of people in costco. They don't really go over the specifics of any particular job title or duties in the interview either, so they're pretty simple questions.
Interview Question – Unfortunately it i so far back I cannot recall. I can state that they were not very difficult. I'd say perhaps the most difficult would have been one concerning how one would deal with having multiple people asking for assistance at once. Answer Question

I applied online and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Costco Wholesale in March 2012.
Interview Details –
After applying online, you wait. Then if you qualify, you are called in for a first interview.
They call and ask you to come in. You meet with 3 managers, all of which ask you the interview questions. The managers vary in ranking. They will be an assistant warehouse manager, and 2 managers from the department you're applying to. Questions were meant to analyze you're professionalism and how and what you know about the company, and why you are interested in working there. The interview lasted about half an hour. If they like you, they'll call you in 2-3 days asking you to come in a second interview.
2nd interview- This interview is set up the same way as the first. A one on three interview. The managers, which are different from the first set, ask you about your work ethic and how well you would preform in certain situations. Again, If they like you, they will call you in for a third interview.
3rd interview - A new set of managers ask you about the same questions asked in interviews 1 and 2. Very short. They offer you a position and ask you to come in for orientation.
Negotiation Details – As an hourly, nothing was really negotiated.
The process took 2 days - interviewed at Costco Wholesale in August 2011.
Interview Details – It is a relatively easy process. If you become the squeeky wheel, they may give you a shot. However, hiring is highly competitive, and usually on takes place seasonally. When you start, you start at 11.00 an hour and have to work 1000 hour before the first $.25 raise, followed by 600 hour interval raises after that, after around 3 years, you may earn an extra $1/year up to $25 or so. However, due to company restructuring, the union is losing ground as far as employee longevity.
Interview Question – Why should we hire you. View Answer
Negotiation Details – You don't get to negotiate, you start at 11.00 an hour.
