I submitted an online application and the next day someone called me and set up an interview. During the interview, the floor manager and HR(?) asked me some general question most of which are about previous employment, such as "tell me about a time when......" During this interview, they take turns. it was about 30 mins. A couple days later, I got a typical rejection letter.

I interviewed with two people on their team. It seemed that they were less concerned about my qualifications or experience and rather how "excited" I was in joining Costco. It was rather odd, really. Asking me if I had a Costco card and how long I was a member. But other than an overall creepy, "pro-Costco" cult-like experience (We have the "best" members, our vendors are "happy" working with us), the people were casual, friendly and seemed truly happy to be there. Maybe it's just something I'm not used to.

Interviewed Feb 2009 in Issaquah, WA (took 1 week)

Applied online and HR person called in 3 days. Tech interview took place in next 3 days. Tech interview too detailed to cover ALL sort skils for cheap pay rate. They did not provide feedback or return calls after completing the interview process. HR and Tech guy were friendly .
