Interviewed Nov 2011 (took 3 weeks)
I applied to the job on their site. I received a phone call the same day. Had phone screen with the guy for 30 minutes. 2 days later I received confirmation of a F2F interview for the following week. F2F took 2 hours with two people separately. I thought it went well, but I am still waiting to hear from them and it's been a couple weeks...

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 4 months)
I was first contacted my a recruiter in March by email. I applied for the position online, and was then contacted by the recruiter a week later for a phone interview. Over the phone, I was asked basic questions about my background and past work experiences. I was contacted a day or two later, and was told a face-to-face interview was to be set up in a week. I attended the face-to-face meeting, and interviewed with four different hiring managers over a period of 2 hours. A week later I was contacted by the same recruiter, and was told the interview went very well, and the background check process was to be initiated soon. After not hearing anything back for several weeks. I contacted the indvidual and was told the background check was complete and everything went well, but there were no current openings for the position. I was told to wait for an opening.................and am still waiting. A total waste of my time.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Madison, WI (took 4 weeks)
I filled out the application online and was contacted the next morning. The recruiter was very polite and explained the hiring process very thoroughly. I had a phone interview the following morning with the same recruiter. My information was then passed on and I was offered a 1:1 interview after a day or 2. As I was driving to the facility, I received a call saying the supervisor was ill and no one else could fill in. I wish they could have called me earlier in the day, because I was already 20 minutes away from my house. On the day of the reschedule, I was interviewed by 2 supervisors from the department in which I would be working. The first woman explained the position very thoroughly (10+ minutes) and asked about 15 behavioral questions. The second woman started with a tour of the lab and asked 10-15 more questions. I hadn't heard anything back, so I contacted the recruiter who looked over my information right then and there. She said there is no reason why I shouldn't be offered a job and I would be contacted EITHER WAY within 2 weeks. I called about 2 weeks later and the recruiter said my background check was still not done. Not sure if this was true or a bunch of BS. I was again told I would be contacted EITHER WAY. Never heard anything. So disappointed. The entire process moved extremely fast...except for the background check runaround.
