Interview
I got the interview through a recruiter. I was initially a bit skeptical as I had some reservations about the company but I thought I would go and meet with them anyway. The interview consisted of several one on one interviews with a variety of individuals. I didn't get an offer and I suspect the reson is that my skepticism came across during the interview.
I didn’t directly interview and they didn’t contact me in any way, instead they called up my current firm to do an unprompted reference check on me, which I found to be highly unprofessional and inappropriate.

Interview
Now that Cowen is part of TD, the process has been lengthy like other typical corporate processes, The HR team and hiring manager were transparent for the most part. For fellow Canadians, yes TD does offer TN Visas but takes forever to finalize. Be prepared as you would for any other company interview.
Phone interview with three separate managers. All asked questions about experience. Was pretty standard overall for finance interview. Experience and fit was what they were looking for most of all.
