    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online – interviewed at Cox Communications (Phoenix, AZ) in January 2015.

    Interview

I was asked about my background, And asked how i handled upset customers. I did not have to do a mock phone call and try to sell anything, but everyone that i was in class with told me that they had to do it. And all of them had got the interviewing person to buy what was on the script they they were supposed to talk about and try to sell. But like i said i did not have to do that for my interview.

    Interview

Was sent email requesting phone interview. Called left message.. they called back asked a few questions like, "why would you want to work here?" Then they scheduled a face to face interview and told me to look into the STARs interview strategy.. I researched it... Came up with some answers ahead of time, went into the interview dressed..business casual-ish (polo w tan denim) the interview was with two floor managers... First they asked me stuff about my experience them they said they were about to start the STARs portion... I felt like I killed it but like a day or so later I got a rejection letter so I don't know what went wrong...maybe my demeanor was too chill..Maybe my voice was too monotone..Maybe I didn't show interest intensely enough.. my suggestion would be to--on top of preparing STARs answers in advance--express to the interviews through body language and, to a curtain extent your response, how much you want this "career." Everyone is so self impornt these days so make them feel like they are the gatekeepers to your future...but then again I felt like I did well in the interview so maybe whatever the next step was sealed my fate...I don't know.

    Interview

Met with 2 people at the Crossways location which they now do not use that location for interviews. It seemed very comfortable to me and it did not take much over 30 minutes. I was very relaxed and felt the questions were relevant to the job I applied for

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Cox Communications (Baton Rouge, LA) in February 2015.

    Interview

Interview process took about 1 hour. First I was interviewed by a human resource manager, asked questions about job history, education and experience with cable cords and Internet cables etc. next I was moved to another room to be interviewed by how they referred to as the human resource director. I walk into the room to find 2 guys at a desk waiting to interview me. They took turns asking me about myself and different questions in STAR interview format. If you don't know what this is please good it. It's better to be prepared than to be sitting there trying to think of a time when such n such happened while they're looking at you with their poker faces. I was asked what URL, DSL and http stood for and what a modem and router was. After this I shook both of their hands and thanked them for the opportunity and left like OMG... I really don't know how that went.

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Cox Communications (Phoenix, AZ) in November 2014.

    Interview

One interview with potential on-the-floor supervisor. Though it seems that they are hiring through temp agencies. But, basically, you're just asked a series of situational questions. Then, they will ask why should we hire you and so on..Based of the answers an if you sound like a good fit then, most likely you'll be getting a call. One thing to keep in mind this department wants revenue revenue revenue.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university – interviewed at Cox Communications (Atlanta, GA).

    Interview

HR was very nice. But did not interviewed with HR, rather, directly to the manager and one person who works in the team. No easy behavior questions, and you need to quickly come up with solutions about data analysis. Did not talk about anything from resume.

    Interview Questions

    • They said was STAR question in the email, but actually basically no behavior questions.
Asked how to deal with data in certain situtations.
