Declined Offer – Interviewed in Feb 2013 – Reviewed May 22, 2013
Interview Details – Long, with a mix of knowledgeable and ignorant participants from the company. A disjointed, repetitive, confusing process, answering the same questions multiple times even after employment due to severe lack of coordination between departments.
Interview Question – Are you a power user of MS Office? Power User of MS Office, that's right, how ridiculous. For this position it sounded like I was applying for a clerical rather that technical engineering type of job. View Answer
Reason for Declining – After all of the confusion of the interview process, I recognized quickly that this company is all show and no go as far as the employees are concerned. It's a job you can take if you have no other options.

Declined Offer – Interviewed in Rockleigh, NJ Sep 2012 – Reviewed Oct 25, 2012
Interview Details –
Phone interview with Crestron Recruiting, followed by in person interview with hiring manager, and phone interview with his boss. Position as been vacant for a while and they were keen to fill.
Be prepared to sign a very strict non-compete/ non-solicit before going to work. Also be aware that the company DOES NOT offer any benefits for the 1st 3 months. You won't find this in the offer, and they do their best to hide it from you. Only if you specifically ask when benefits begin may you be told.
Interview Question – Nothing out of the ordinary. Just know yourself and make sure you ask for the job. Answer Question
Reason for Declining – Company tried to hide the fact that benefits were not offered. Had specifically asked about health benefits before accepting, but was told by HR that "I wasn't savvy enough to ask the right question" I actually turned down another job offer before discovering this and found the Crestron process very unethical. There is a feeling that employees are just a means to the owners profits here. Don't expect too much

Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Rockleigh, NJ Jan 2012 – Reviewed Jul 15, 2012
Interview Details – The interview process involved the usual process. A background check was done. The manager who interviewed me would not discuss salary and expressed indifference to anyone who doesn't like the pay , saying "If you don't like the pay you can leave and I will have human resources 'spin the wheel' and send me another applicant".
Interview Question – There were no difficult or unexpected questions in my experience with this interview. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – The pay offered was less then half what I've been payed in the past for similar work. The human resource person was inflexible and indifferent with a "take it or leave it" attitude. I reluctanty accepted as I need a job until I find a better paying employment opportunity.

No Offer – Interviewed in Arlington Heights, IL Mar 2012 – Reviewed Apr 18, 2012
Interview Details – Initial contact drew some interest because of the technology the company has. Initial phone screening after submitting my resume in person was quick and general. I was emailed for an in person interview. The building is very nice, the culture is "nerdy" (as they say it is) and location is great. He was insisting that there was no growth at all which is EXACTLY what I see as a common problem for the company on Glassdoor. So I bombed the rest of the interview and didn't mind the rejection. I guess I was RESOURCEFUL enough to do a background check on the companies insides.
Interview Question – This was an informal and informational interview, Questions weren't traditional. A character question came up about what TV shows I like. View Answer
No Offer – Interviewed in Rockleigh, NJ Aug 2011 – Reviewed Mar 7, 2012
Interview Details – The interview was very standard. We went over what my skills were, what type of products I had done, etc. A lot of time was spent describing the company, benefits and what was expected of me. We talked about my commute because I lived over an hour away. I don't feel I convinced her that this was not a problem. Perhaps they wanted someone who lived closer.
Interview Question – How to avoid flow marks in an injection molded plastic part. View Answer
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Rockleigh, NJ Jul 2011 – Reviewed Feb 2, 2012
