Interviewed Jan 2012 in Rolling Meadows, IL (took 1+ week)
I interviewed for a Financial Analyst position with the company. Interview process was 2 phone interviews and 1 F2F interview. Very detailed hiring process and everyone I spoke with was very intelligent and inquisitive. Seems like an excellent place to work.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in San Diego, CA (took 1+ week)
Once the recruiter did the initial screening, a phone interview was setup. It was a normal 20 minute discussion about overall skills, the position itself, questions, and general interest. After this, an onsite interview was established which consisted of 3 persons: the group manager, the director, and another analyst via phone to their Denver office.
I was asked about experience and given generic skills tests, like draw a Kimball data model and explain some concepts. What was interesting is the director's questions - very open ended: 1. Give me a plan to take out the trash, 2. If the website's home page went down, how would you QA the home page specifically the login? As much I I think I could read people, I had no idea how I did. I suspect, partially in hindsight, that they were very vague to assess the types of questions you ask and the overall ability to break down the problem. Who's trash? Where is the bin? What resources? Etc., not necessarily to build a perfect plan, per se.
The next day, after introspection on the interview, I called the recruiter and told her I do not think I showed enough interest (I'm reserved). To which she responded, they had gotten back to her and said they thought I was not interested enough in the position. Oh well!! But lesson is show lots of enthusiasm for Cricket!!

Interviewed Jun 2009 in Houston, TX (took 4+ weeks)
I submitted my application online. A month later i received a call from an HR recruiter and we set up an interview for a week later. At the time of the interview I was in front of her and a District Manager. They went over my resume and had me explain why I would be good for the job/company and what experience did I have to support my statements. A week later I received the offer by telephone and asked when I would be able to start.

Interviewed Aug 2009 in Denver, CO (took a day)
Overall a very disappointing experience. The receptionist made me wait until the movie she was watching on her computer was done to take my name. I waited another 30 minutes to be seen. I was interviewed by two people that clearly did not get along and were one upping each other during the interview. There was very little structure to the interview, jumping around from topic to topic made it hard to determine what the job would really entail.

Reason for Declining
I felt I would not be a good fit in the office overall. I was very uncomfortable with the obvious tension between the two people interviewing me, who would have been coworkers. The overall lack of professionalism was a major warning sign.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Group/Panel Interview.

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took 4 weeks)
The interview process consisted of 2 seperate interviews. The first being 1:1 and the second being a panel interview. Both interviews consisted of mainly the same canned questions. Occaisionally, one interviewer would try to throw a "curve ball" by asking some off the wall question. Most questions were the same standard interview questions found at any company. There was little effort made to find underlying causes of the answers given or to personalize the interview packet to the position being applied for. It was clear that the interviewers were relatively uninterested in the process and had already made their decision prior to the actual interview.

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took 2 weeks)
Contacted the company prior to any "open" position being posted. Instead of being recruited by the company, since i had a multitude of experience with their much more successfel peer company in the industry i was told to "apply online".
Did that and when they called i got an in-person interview. The interview was pretty basic and i got the feeling i was being hurried out. My past of exact experience this job is was not probed very much at all.
Had an HR interview by phone also. Instead of going over my resume in detail like it should have been, she skimmed over my 2-page resume in probably less than 2 minutes. This time i felt as if i was being hurried off of the phone.
It also appears that Cricket relies heavily, too heavily, on "behavioral" interview questions. Since i have extremely extensive experience doing this same job with another company, you would think i would be asked how this, and that, and how did i do this, how did i do that, what ideas i could bring over, and on and on and on. Nope. We barely covered it. The correct thing to do in this situation is for the most part, throw the "by the numbers, nothing-meaning" behavior questions out the window and talk about how the position is really worked.
I was then contacted a few days later stating that "they hired an internal with additional experiences". The company i had previously worked for would have jumped all over a candidate like myself, but apparently, being successful and having the identical experience that this job calls for mattered little....if at all.
I was then told if i saw another opening to "apply online" again. Again, very poor business practice, as good, experienced, and professional candidates should be recruited and pursued....not have to apply online if "they see something".
A surprisingly disappointing experience and i can now see why they lag far behind in this industry. I would imagine that their CEO would not be happy if he knew there were things like this going on out in the field.
After all is said and done, I now think i likely would not want to work for this kind of company. They seem to go after lesser qualified types, most likely that they have to pay less. A stunning process that leaves me shaking my head.

Interviewed May 2009 (took 2+ weeks)
The whole interview process was moving very fast, the HR handled communication and scheduling efficiently and with great courtesy. Had 2 phone interviews (one with recruiter and followed by another one with the hiring manager) then invited for onsite interview meeting/talking to 4 key persons, and the offer came next week, pleasant experience overall.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in San Diego, CA (took 1 week)
Started with a phone interview with HR, then 3 rounds of interviews with managers and a closing one with HR.
They were most interested in applicable experience and your ability to hit the ground running.
The people are nice and friendly, the office is brand new(LEED gold) very open as their are windows everywhere.
