  to late payment; payment was made but not process due wrong account payment numbers. How would you handle customer?

Question is hard due to not knowing procedures/guidelines of Geico for addressing customer or company mistakes when processing payments. Gave a customer service type answer about being customer focused and explaining procedures about mistakes if Geico made error or if customer mistakenly submitted wrong account number.
