The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cvent in Oct 2011
Interview
I got a call from the Human Resources hiring manager. The phone conversation lasted about 30 minutes. Asked me the basics, what was on my resume, what experiences would contribute to the position. Whether i enjoyed making high volume calls all day. I waited a week and then got no offer
I applied online. I interviewed at Cvent in Aug 2017
Interview
Only had phone interviews by now. Were quite easy going and very relaxed with both lasting about half an hour. Questions were: what do you expect from the position, how can you contribute to the company, what do you know about cvent
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cvent (McLean, VA) in Jul 2011
Interview
I was contacted within a few days of submitting my application for a phone interview with a mid-level member of the sales department. The phone interview was very basic and easy. At the end of the phone interview, the interviewer told me that I would be asked to come in for a in-person interview. The in-person interview was schedule for a week and a half later. When I arrived at the office I was brought into an empty conference room to wait for a my first interviewer. I had short one-on-one interviews with two managers from different sales areas. Most of the questions in these interviews were very basic and they didn't seem interested into digging deeper to see how candidates fit with the company. After these two one-on-one interviews, I "shadowed" one of the current Business Development Associates. Basically I was given a headset to listen to sales calls and given a brief overview of the different tasks this person completes on a normal day. This portion of the interview was extremely boring, and pretty confirmed that this position was not for me. In the end I think the interviewers also saw my lack of interest in a purely sales based job, as I originally thought that this position could contain marketing and sales responsibilities.
If you're looking for an entry-level sales position for a recent graduate this position is ideal. The employees are very friendly and it seems like an enjoyable place to work.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about the webinars that you are suppose to attend before, but only ask about your perceptions of them. There's no need to closely study the webinars since they won't ask specifics.
