Interviewed Jan 2012 in Englewood, CO (took 3 weeks)
The interview process is long and can take up to 3 months. Be patient. DISH does not pay at market salary. The supervisor position was supposedly locked in at $55 - $60k annual. There a lot of hoops to jump through but if you want the responsibility that comes with the position (which there's a lot of). You can move into a higher position and salary range at another company.
My resume was given to a hiring manager at a university recruiting event. I followed up with 2 of the managers. They sent my resume to HR. 3 weeks later I was sent an email to take a few tests, a skills test and a RoundPegg? test. The skills test was like an easier version of the GMAT/SAT. The RoundPegg test was to see what type of person you were.
From there I was invited to do an on site interview with a few people. I ended up doing 5 interviews in a row with 7 people. I interviewed with a potential peer to what would be my management and director.
After the interview, I had to take a few more skills test. These were similar to the SAT/GMAT but easier. I think they want to verify that you were original person taking the first test. The whole process of interviews took 4-5 hours. The questions were really easy. I think they just want to gauge what type of person you are.
After a week, HR called and said I needed to interview with VP. I had an hour long interview. After that, I filled out paperwork that allowed them to do a background check, credit check and a drug test.
After all that, I was not selected for the position. I believe that someone in the mix of interviews did not like my personality or was intimidated by me. I think it was for the best. Their corporate culture was interesting, to say the least.
PROS:
Gain experience/responsibility that other companies would not give at the level you are at
If you work hard and do not rub people the wrong way, you can move up real quick.
CONS:
You have to be in the building between the hours of 9-4.
You have to "clock" AT LEAST 40 hours.
Closed campus.

Had a phone interview asking basic compatability questions. In person interview based on background. On site drug screening. Computer simulation in open area. Watched people in suits getting interviewed by managers in jeans and polo shirts. You can get the job if you can communicate and can pass a drug screening.

The interview process was pretty reasonable. They were not at all clear that the turnover rate at Dish is around 90%.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Denver, CO (took 2 weeks)
I found the Product Lead opening on my university's career website. As part of the application process I submitted my resume, cover letter, and completed an online assessment. The assessment took under 2 hours and had the usual math and English questions but also a section more tailored to the position. These asked a lot of questions about YouTube and Facebook's analytical tools. I must have done well enough to get a telephone interview. The phone interviewer asked some of the usual behavioral questions but also about my experience with cable companies, where I saw entertainment going in the next few years, and how Dish should market themselves and segment their products. I thought I did OK thinking on my feet but I received an email the next day explaining it was a competitive job market and they do not think I am the best fit for their openings.

Interviewed Nov 2011 (took 1 week)
Applied online, did the pre-test, called ahead, set an appointment, arrived clean, presentable, and early. Took the test again, used my best effort, was honest and attentive during the face to face interviews. Received a call a week or so later, during which they offered a job, and I took it. An easy interview and obviously part of a well oiled machine.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Englewood, CO (took 2 weeks)
Received an email then proceeded to a phone interview. After I was asked to take 2 personality after the score were reviewed I was invited to a panel interview with the supervisor and manager for 1 hour. Then I was asked to take a SAT style tests, 3 total and was given 1 hour. I was asked what my salary asking price was and then was declined which seemed surprising to them. The salary was researched on a government page which claims to have the salary on the position I was biding for. After a week I emailed the supervisor and was told I did not score high enough on the assesment tests and was told that the company has strict rules about the employment through the scores.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 2 months)
I was first asked to take a couple of tests that tested reading comprehension and reasoning skills and then was set up for a Skype interview. After that first interview, I was scheduled for a second, then a third, and so on. This went on for several weeks and each time the interviewer would talk about how well everything was going. They then flew me down to spend the day at their call center in Tulsa and meet with various department managers and I was told again, everything was going great. They said there was still another interview, this time with the head of HR, and it would be my final interview. This was the first one where the interviewer didn't seem interested in speaking with me and was often reading something else while I was talking to him. After it was over, I waited two weeks to get as brief phone call to say thanks, but no thanks. A HUGE waste of time for me.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Tucson, AZ (took 4 weeks)
Applied online first, then took a couple of tests online, only took about 30 minutes.. I was then contacted for a phone interview, person was really nice and helpful. After that was contacted to go into a one on one interview at the office, interview was straight forward and pleasant. Was told if I was accepted they would send a email out to references and they did, however its been 3 weeks and still haven't heard anything back from dish network. Really hoping to get the position.
