Interview Details – I submitted an application over the Dannon career site and was pleasantly surprised to get a note from the HR manager to schedule a call. The call though was a big disappointment as the HR person was 20 minutes late from the scheduled time and wasn't engaged in a conversation with me and was taking a lot of long pauses and saying lots of "umms". I get the impression that the HR manager had other things in mind and wasn't interested in being on the phone with me.
Interview Question – Very basic intro questions, nothing was out of the ordinary or challenging. Answer Question

Interview Details – The only words to describe Dannon and the interview process are: PAINFUL, SLOW, and BAD COMMUNICATION. I had an a phone interview back in September and they were very impressed and wanted me to speak with the hiring manager. Weeks went by with no communication. Finally a phone interview was scheduled with the manager. It went great and they said they would like to get me down there ASAP. A month went by before I heard another word (I gave up). When they called they wanted to book a flight right away. Two more weeks went by before I received a confirmed date. I flew to the Dannon HQ, the interview went great, they said the would be in touch soon. Again, no communication what-so-ever. Finally, several other job offers came through and I accepted one. I still have not heard back from Dannon. It really a disgrace to the entire interviewing process. A collegue of mine had the exact same experience interviewing for a retail ops position. They need to stop wasting valuable time.

Interviewing at Dannon is like going on the awesome first date that never calls you back. Once the interview process begins they will move you quickly through the stages and have open communication until they decide that they are not interested, and then you will never hear from them again.
For weeks you will have no idea where you stand -because HR will go MIA- until you figure out that they are not interested in moving forward. It is really surprising that a global company would conduct themselves in this manner.
I would echo the sentiments that others have written about this company. Look elsewhere. Their complete lack of professionalism has put me off from ever wanting to work with them in any capacity in the future. The economy is tough but I wouldn't recommend wasting your time applying here.
Interview Question – What was a time that you worked with someone who didn't agree with you? What was the result? Answer Question

Interview Question – If you were an animal what would you be? (No kidding) Answer Question
Reason for Declining – The ridiculous-ness of this place was clear during their insane interview process. I could never work here, even for the $20K additional they offered me.

Actually have interviewed with Dannon twice over the past several years. Both times I have received no followup after my face to face interviews. Talk about unprofessional. Interviews were pretty standard about past positions and projects I've worked on. Was recently contacted by one of their HR people about an opening. Made me laugh.
I realize the economy is tough and people will take what they can get, but if you have options, avoid this company and their lack of professionalism.

These people were empowered with the ability to hire in their department as they saw fit. There were 14 people in the credit department. I saw 8 of them in 2 panel settings. They were considerate of my time and allowed me to ask any questions I had about the company and position. Most of the questions posed to me were personal regarding work history, management decisions I had made to streamline processes. Their corporate culture deserve more play in other corporations. There is emphasis on individual development.
They ended up hiring someone within the company to fill the position. All in all the interview process was positive and the people regretfully ones that I could have bonded with easily. sigh.
