Application Details

I applied through other source. The process took 2 days - interviewed at Datamatics Technologies in July 2011.

Interview Details

The first interview in the form of a GD session, where the interviewer gave us a topic to discuss upon. The discussion went fine. After that, they asked us to leave, which meant none of us had been selected. We were about to leave the company premises when the security guard stopped us after he recieved a call from the HR department. I was called back. Then a second round of interview with the senior editor and the assistant manager of the team I was about to work with. This went smoothly. Then a skill test, which I passed with flying colors. And the final interview with the manager himself. It was later revealed to me that I was rejected in the very first interview because of my somewhat rowdy appearance (Atleast that is what the first interviewer thought, At that time I had a clean shaven head, and I had been weight-training for the past 4 years, so I am very heavily built, plus I have a couple of scars on my head which made me look like a hooligan streetfighter). I was wearing a half sleeved shirt and a pair of plain black trousers.
