Received and Declined Offer

Interviewed Apr 2009 (took 4+ weeks)
I was recommended to the Sales and Marketing VP so I'm not sure whether they have an IQ/Personality/Skills Test that they normally ask applicants to take.
I had two panel interviews. The first one consisted of 3 people: HR Manager, one from Sales and another manager. It was a simple getting-to-know interview. Asked why I wanted to apply for the job and why to their company; what are my career plans; etc.
The second one consisted of all department managers, plus the company VP. I was actually surprised that it was more of a getting-to-know interview than an interview on my skills and competencies. More on career plans and how aligned are my goals to that of the company. Perhaps that's because they were more concerned on my length of stay in the company.

Reason for Declining
I wasn't really interested on Sales and Marketing. And if I accepted the offer, it would have been unfair if I would have eventually left the company after a few years.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Group/Panel Interview and a Background Check.
