Interviewed Mar 2010 in Chicago, IL (took 2 weeks)
The first round was 2 phone interviews -- a basic resume interview and a behavioral interview
The second round was in the office. I had 2 behavioral interviews, 1 case interview, and 1 group case interview. The case interview was about health insurance. Overall it was a great learning experience. Great people.

Interviewed Oct 2009 in Chicago, IL (took 2 days)
I was first screened by a recruiter.
An HR person from Deloitte then contacted me. The dicussion lasted for about 20 minutes and had little to do with the work. There was clearly a large degree of difference between our personalties. After the interview I was advised in less than 15 minutes by the recruiter that they were not interested.

Interviewed Dec 2009 in Chicago, IL (took 2 days)
First round was on campus, was grilled hard about valuation, and random things about how to choose suitable comparable companies. Held my composure throughout it all and left the interview not thinking I would get a second round but I did. Second round was more behavioral based. I talked a lot about why I wanted to do transfer pricing- my econ background, the international and analytical focus, etc.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
Chose to decline because the company and division didn't seem to be a good fit.

Interviewed Jul 2008 in Chicago, IL (took 4+ weeks)
The interview process was fine though I had a couple of people on the panel who were really sleepy and yawning all the time. May be they did not get the right sleep the night before. I got two messages from this, either the team did not care for this interview process or they were over worked. So, I decided to pass on this offer.

Interviewed Nov 2009 in Chicago, IL (took 2 days)
I felt that I was respected when I was interviewing and everyone seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. People seem really invested in the comapny and are also really smart as well. I liked that they gave case interviews because they really want to make sure that you know how to apply yourself, rather than just giving behavioral interviews.

Interviewed Sep 2009 in Chicago, IL (took 2 days)
The interviews were pretty straight forward. The first was a standard behavioral interview that asked usual questions about your resume, working in teams, why Deloitte, etc. The 2nd and 3rd were each case interviews regarding technology problems a client would have. As the manager of the project, how would you go about completing the project? The people I interviewed seemed friendly enough, but were almost too corporate.

Interviewed Oct 2009 in Chicago, IL (took 2 days)
1st round- 30 min behavioral (very simple and general questions), 30 min case- very simple. 2nd round- 60 min case- much more difficult on the second day (built in quantitative that goes very in-depth). Overall, positive people that seem to want you to do well. If they like you, they will place you wherever you request

Interviewed Oct 2009 in Chicago, IL (took 2 days)
Started on campus. Typical behavioral quetsion with some Deloitte twists. Office visit consists of pre-interview dinner and half day visit. Questions are a lot easier compared with first round. Everyone is nice and friendly but definitely competetive. My advice is focus on how you communicate and try to make some personal connection during the interview.

Interviewed Mar 2009 in Chicago, IL (took 2 weeks)
There were two rounds of interviews. The first round consisted of two, 30 minute on campus behavioral interviews. The second round is three, 30 minute behavioral interviews in the office. They varied based on who interviewed you.
When I first applied, I was called personally to let me know that I received a first round interview. There were no case interviews, which surprised me. The first interviewer grilled me on random facts. He was trying to see if I were to crack under pressure. The second interviewer was a lot "nicer." Final round was very difficult as there were four of us interviewing for one position. It was primarily a "fit" interview. They wanted to see if I was going to fit in with the culture of the firm. I did well because by that point, I knew a lot about the firm and what a human capital analyst actually does.
