Interviewed Mar 2011 in Detroit, MI (took 4 weeks)
Received a call after submitting my resume by email to the career services at school. About a month later, I received a call from Deloitte. It was an initial phone screening call. 2 weeks later I get another screening call. One week from then I get an email to submit a background check online and the same day I get a call to come in for the in-office interview. First, there was a presentation about Deloitte for everyone. Second, 3 30 minutes interviews with 3 people from different levels. Last, lunch with another candidate and 2 employees. The lunch was very informal. Each interviewer had their own style of asking questions, they like to talk about the company and expect you to ask many questions.
My advice is this: PREPARE by browsing the Deloitte website and preparing answers for the previously posted questions on this blog. Also prepare a list of questions to ask. My second advice is TALK using those answers you prepared even when you're not asked a question.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Detroit, MI (took 3 weeks)
Phone interview consists of a 30min behavioral interview, a 30min case interview.
Onsite interview consists of a 30min behavioral interview, a 30min case interview and 1 hour group case.
People there are very nice. But the case interview questions were hard. They read you a lot of numbers and concepts and you need to answer their questions by remembering all info.

Interviewed Oct 2009 in Detroit, MI (took 4+ weeks)
1) Initally met recruiters at a career fair and they seemed to be very focused on GPA as well as minority students. Going to presentations, informations sessions or speaking events will also increase your chances.
2) Site visit conistied of a tour of the office, lunch with 1st year potential peers, and 3 one on one interviews with the HR recruiters. They asked basic behavioral based questions.
3) I recieved an offer over the phone then was mailed the official paper work to look over.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
They seemed very clicky and secretive about how they were handling market dips with layoffs etc. They seem to be a solid employer - definitely worthy of big 4 status but, just wasn't a good fit for me.
Other Details
The interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a Group/Panel Interview and a Background Check.

Interviewed Jul 2008 in Detroit, MI (took 3 weeks)
It began with a phone interview conducted by a recruiter - this was just general stuff and easy questions. Then, after a few weeks, I was contacted for an interview with the manager. This was a behavioral interview with questions like "tell me about a time you didn't meet expectations". Immediately following that, I had a third interview with the senior manager which was split between straightforward questions and behavioral ones. There was a pretty grueling background check which required detailed information about my employers for the past 10 years and let me tell you, they verified every single thing!! They grilled my references pretty hard, too.

Negotiation Details
I did not negotiate - they offered me 30% more pay and more than twice the vacation time of my previous employer.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Detroit, MI (took 4+ weeks)
Interviewed on campus first. Received a phone call on sat evening, inviting me to the next step - a dinner and an office visit. The dinner was casual with current associates. The office visit consisted of 4 1:1 interviews with partners, managers, directors. Than another lunch with other associates. I don't know if I would have an offer yet.

Interviewed Sep 2008 in Southfield, MI (took a day)
I was considered for a position advertised as Security Analyst Auditor. The interview took place over the course of 2 weeks wherein I was asked techinical questions and questions about my willingness to travel. In the end there was a proposed offer to work as a Java Programmer Consultant. As I was looking for work in Information Security I was not interested in pursuing this change in venue.
