Interviewed Dec 2010 in Hyderabad (India) (took a day)
It was straight forward:
1. A written test like CAT
2. Case study on supply chain management of an automobile company. It was an easy one, just used few jargon to get through it.
3. Interview - super chill. why consulting, about project etc.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Hyderabad (India) (took 3 days)
The interview process begins with submission of required documents (academic work certificates,etc.). After the initial appraisal of the application the company sends out invites for the first rounds of interview. The first two rounds of interview are completely computer based. At this stage an applicant is assessed on his/her technical as well soft skills. For applicants who get to this stage it is recommended to brush up on your English communication skills, which are extensively tested at this point. Following the initial tests, the third round is a 1:1 interview process with the company's HR and Managers. Again, things to keep in mind for aspirants are that Deloitte is the biggest of the Big 4 companies , the applicants must be ready to be hard workers who display an attitude for team work and are ready to commit themselves to the job.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Bangalore (India) (took a day)
The company was one of the first 'tier 2' companies that came to PESIT, Bangalore. We had the written round which consisted of aptitude and verbal section. This lasted for about 1.5 hours and was an online test. Followed by a group discussion session where we were divided into groups of 5. each group was given a case study to analyze and come up with the solutions for the various problems faced. After this the shortlisted candidates were called for an one-one interview on the same day. Here, questions on the projects we worked on, any internships etc were asked along with questions like 'what is the greatest difficulty you faced while doing this project etc'.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Hyderabad (India) (took a day)
The whole process revolved around the job profile - Security Analyst/Consultant for ERS. I was selected in the Case Study stage because of my stress on the security aspect in the topic they gave us. In my Personal Interview, again the guys moved from my project to the security aspects related to it - security threats in open source technology etc.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Hyderabad (India) (took 3 weeks)
It all depends upon the service line and kind of profile you have got a call for. If it is for a Management Process, then there will be a initial scanning by HR and the India Business Manager. They will probably go with 4-5 profile and will select 2-3 out of it. They will have a initial discussion probably over a phone and will forward the eligible case to US. A Telephonic interview will be taken on US. This going to be the most critical. Most of the time it is 1:1 but it can also be taken by a Panel.
It the person is selected, then HR may call the candidate to office for a face to face meeting. This is more of a formalities unless there is a exceptional case.
Just to add, there is a communication test that a candidate has to pass, as Deloitte stress a lot on Communication. It is more like a IELTS or any other recognised English Test.
In a week or so, they will make the final decision and will share the news with the Candidate.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Hyderabad (India) (took 1+ week)
1) telephonic round for screening with the recruiter, scheduling interview
2)panel interview consisted of 2 asst. managers, one exec. manager, and one senior manager (American)
lasted 30 minutes.
although it may seem overwhelming, it was rather easy. questions mostly around skills and knowledge.
the manager who was American was a lot more "human", offered a glass of water in between.
the local personnel sounded like robots., emphasizing "why do you think so?"
In fact, the American was the one who asked questions in managing people, specific to managing emotions while getting the work done.
I came to know later the the American gave a "big thumbs up" and a wink to the recruiter who was seated in the cube right outside as a feedback for me
