Interviewed Nov 2011 (took 3 weeks)
It began with an on campus interview, 30 minute back to back Behavioral interview and a Case interview. Behavioral is pretty straight forward and the case interview is just to see how the interviewee thinks and processes information. Prior to the campus interview, there was a Pre-Night Event at the office where we got to meet current first year analysts that graduated from the same university along with other analysts and managers. It was a casual and relaxing event-they set it up so that people could be relaxed for the interview the next day and allowed for all the potential interviewees to ask about the process.
After the first round interviews, final round interview or what they call Blitz Day invitations were sent out about a week later. The Blitz day was a two day process, consisting of a night of networking and dinner. Atmosphere was similar in that it was meant so that people could get to know employees and the company and ask various questions about the upcoming day. The next day was an all day event consisting of 5 different interviews, 1 of them being a case, and than a group case presentation.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Washington, DC (took 2 days)
Resume dropped through school; interview process was standard for consulting. First round 30 min behavioral, 30 min easy case. Second round the same, but case a bit trickier and conducted by a senior partner, which might intimidate. Overall painless, the interviewers pleasant and engaging.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Arlington, VA (took 2 weeks)
Everyone that I spoke with was extremely friendly and looking to help you throughout the process. The company is team oriented and the employees seem to be pretty intelligent and generally outgoing. They want you to have a clear idea in your head going into the interview of what Deloitte is all about and why you want to be a part of that. Other firms I've interviewed for in the past weren't as concerned with that. They want you to have an idea of how you would fit in and why it is a good fit for you, so definitely be able to list a few specific examples of that.
The interview process tends to be quick. I had a phone interview over the winter holidays and heard back a day or two after that I had moved on to the final round. Then the first week in Jan I had a superday with 3 different people (2 behavioral and 1 case). I heard back from them a few days later on their decision. Even if the position is more on the technical side, the interviews are focused on behavioral type questions and how you would fit in with company culture. It is very important that you present yourself as a team player and that you talk about how you interact with your team as well as your superiors and people outside the team. Of course, think of questions about the company culture to ask for after the interview. If you are stuck on those, ask about mentorship within the company, if they pay for advanced degrees and how their internal points system works (for participating in company events and clubs).
The case study was to create a budget. You have to ask for information to complete it, so just stay calm and think through it. It isn't a complicated case since they just want to see how you reason. It's more common sense type scenario. After that they give you a situation where the client wants to cut costs and you have to go through how you would figure out what to cut. Just ask about the importance of different items and make some assumptions. As long as they are reasonable and you explain yourself, you'll be fine.

Interviewed Nov 2011 (took 2 days)
It was an one-hour interview separated to two parts, behavior and case interviews. The first half hour was a behavioral interview with a current Deloitte Consulting manager. Basically, he would find some interesting points on interviewee's resume and ask more detail questions about the experience. The second part was the case interview, and the interviewer was a current principal in Deloitte. He first started with reading the case, and then you will have time to ask questions and organize your thought.
Time control is very important in both part. In the case interview, asking the right questions is also a key to the success.

Interviewed Nov 2011 (took 2+ weeks)
Everyone was nice during the interview, but the HR did not respond until I call her 2 weeks after the interview. I don't mind rejection, but I didn't like how they simply ignored me after the on-site interview.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in New York, NY (took 2 days)
General Behavioral. Easy Case, there is no need to understand the industries they deal with (relative to standard consulting cases). The thing is they want YOU to know exactly where you want to be in their organization and the minute you show doubt of which area TR vs ARA they start doubting
