Interviewed Jan 2011 in Los Angeles, CA (took 1 week)
It took one week from the time I submitted my application online to receive an email for a phone interview. The interview lasted 45minutes with questions ranging from technical skills, Time management, scheduling and my strongest skill. The recruiter was very polite and provided a brief introduction about the company and the services provide to clients. I was asked what my salary expectation was. I was then informed the next step will be scheduling a testing on my computer software skills.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Los Angeles, CA (took 3 weeks)
My first interview with Deloitte was an initial phone interview with HR about why I was interested in Deloitte, consulting, etc. The second round of interviews was 2 1:1 45-minute phone interviews. The first 45 minute interview was an over the phone case study. Not too bad nothing unexpected came up. The second 45 minute interview was a behavioral interview (always stress the benefits of diversity in the workplace, show that you can handle potential issues that commonly arise in the work-place, talk about how you work well with people, and be able to give EXAMPLES for ALL of these types of questions. Last interview was with a partner and director at the firm. Overall good experience up until that point, but after trying to contact HR as to why I didn't make the cut, I couldn't get a hold of them. Go figure.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Los Angeles, CA (took 2 weeks)
Very smooth interview process with speedy email replies and call backs. I found out about the Consultant position on campus and applied. They were interviewing for 1-2 opening. (Don't be afraid to ask them how many openings there are.) We were only required to provide a resume (nice!). I received a first round phone interview and a subsequent second round in person/at the LA office 2-case interview.
The first round behavioral interview consisted of questions like:
1. Talk about 3 strengths and 3 weaknesses of yours.
2. How do you work in a team?
3. Talk about a situation where you and your manager didn't see eye to eye.
4. Talk about a situation where you had to take a leadership role in a team.
5. Why consulting? Why Deloitte?
Was called back 2 hours after my interview to set up a second round interview.
The second round case interviews consisted of 1-30 minute case and 1-45 minute case where I was asked profit maximization questions for a made-up company and asked to perform several easy calculations.
In preparing for the case interviews definitely prepare for the SET UP of how you would approach a profit maximization question so you can clearly outline your thoughts. Act confident above all else. If the interviewer corrects you, let them correct you, they probably know more than you. Time flies by.
Was called back 1 business day later (these in-house interviews are scheduled mainly on Fridays) that I didn't get the job.
Overall good experience with the recruiter and interviewers. I wouldn't apply again since it's a tiring process, but can't say it was a bad experience. Deloitte is a well-oiled machine.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
There were 2 interviews for the first round. The ones selected for the second round would be called in the next day. I didn't make it to the second round. The first round consists of one case interview and one behavioral interview. The manager giving me the case interview was not very friendly and I didn't feel a good vibe from the conversation. The behavioral interview was better. However, I assume that in the first round, the major weight is given to the case interview.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
Got there, two people to be interviewed by
first round was technical, about how to manage the firm and what kind of technologies I'd suggest
second round was behavioral, about Deloitte and just usual stuff
didn't get an offer though, as it was for an internship and space is very limited, (compared to full time jobs)
competition is really tough on the other side, so good luck!

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
Got an interview through the campus recruiting website at my university. Had a 1:1 interview which lasted for about a half hour. The questions were very cliched such as describe an instance in life where you felt you did not know your destination and describe a leadership instance etc. It went off well and there was a second round that consisted of a case study. No specific knowledge required here. They just want to test your ability to break down and analyze a problem. There is no wrong or right answer.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Los Angeles, CA (took 1+ week)
There was an initial information session at the USC campus, where I handed over my resume to the different people who had come from the company. One week later I was called for an on campus interview. The interviewer was an Indian guy who had been with the company for almost 10 years. He spoke to me nicely and treated me with respect. He listened to my responses very carefully but I think my preparation wasn't enough to satisfy his requirements. That is perhaps why I wasn't called for another interview at their local LA office.
