Interviewed Mar 2011 in New York, NY (took a day)
I first was contacted by HR for a phone interview. I then had an on campus interview in Miami. Later I had a back to back skype interview with 2 people. The first was friendly and chose questions that could facilitate a conversation the second clearly did not like me and asked absurdly hard questions to answer on the spot. i would recommend practicing situational questions before interviewing.

Interviewed Jan 2009 in New York, NY (took 2 weeks)
3 Interviews in total. The first informal interview was with a recruiter via phone. The next interview was a few days later with a manager via phone. The last interview consisted of 3 1:1 in person interviews with a manager, sr. manager and partner.
I found the whole process to be informal. Everyone was very easy going.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in New York, NY (took 2 months)
I had one on-the-spot interview at a career fair with a manager from Deloitte. It was a resume cum behavioral interview.
Couple of weeks later I got a call saying I was selected for the next round at the main office in the World Financial Center. It was 2 hours, half an hour with each interviewer. Again all of these interviews were behavioral questions.

Interview with 2 people, one being partner and the other one being senior manager. Took around half an hour each. Just very random questions....they just wanted to talk and potentially see if your personality fits with their culture

Interviewed Feb 2011 in New York, NY (took a day)
I was initially contacted by a very enthusiastic (and young-sounding) HR recruiter who asked the usual "stock" questions such as "how long have you been doing this?" and spent a good amount of time telling me that Deloitte was a great place to work.
The "real" interview was with a Partner, Senior Manager, and a Manager/Consultant. No one asked really tough Oracle-related technical or functional or any serious project management questions; they focused on the usual behavioral-type and "where do you see yourself in 5 years". I think I asked more questions than they did and I never got the feeling that they were really interested in getting to know what I had to offer.
No offer was made (no surprise); this occured twice in a 4-month period. The one in October went much better than the one in February. I was surprised the October people "decided to pass" as the recruiter told me.
In both cases, Deloitte approached me; I never sent a resume until I was asked for one.
Went through the same dance 4 years ago. I suppose the trick is to out-guess the interviewers and do an "excellen"t job of telling them what they want to hear; I know I did "excellent" in October and "good" in February.

Interviewed Mar 2011 in New York, NY (took a day)
Interview was very casual. The partner I talked to was super friendly and easy going. He had about 5 team-related questions he prepared beforehand. For example: Was there a time where you had to confront one of your team members. Be ready to show your experience in a team environment.

Interviewed Jan 2009 in New York, NY (took 6+ weeks)
Was originally contacted by internal recruiter after submitting resume online. Had initial phone screen with internal recruiter and then phone screen with manager. Eventually brought in for in person interview. Was one on one interviewed by 3 partners. Overall process was relatively stress free and focused on technical and business past.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in New York, NY (took 5 months)
Was contacted by phone screen with an indication of interest. After a few weeks I received an online skills test with an interview following test results. After initial interview there was a waiting period of almost a month were contact was finally made expressing a continued interest. Upon the subsequent interview I yet waited another four weeks getting confirmation of interviews to be scheduled. There was about a total of five 1:1 interviews over a five month period with one person each visit; not the most economical way of using someone's time.
Office spaces were very small cubicles, almost like a professional sweat shop (though not with the sweat shop conditions of course). Even the offices were very small and cramped in size though the office did look professional. If interviewing with this company be ready to have the process take up to several months which was indicated clearly to me in interviews that it was the normal time frame to hire applicants.

Interviewed Jul 2010 in New York, NY (took 4 weeks)
It was a positive interview experience. I was disappointed that I didn't receive an offer. The HR person was nice and guided me through the process. I had an in person interview with 4 people. The interview room was small. At the end I was not told why I wouldn't be getting an offer.
