    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3+ monthsinterviewed at Deloitte (New York, NY) in March 2015.

    Interview

I first sent my resume to an employee of Deloitte that I knew. He then sent my resume to a recruiter who then passed it along to another recruiter.
After about a couple of weeks I received an email to have a phone interview with the a Director and Senior Manager.
About 2 weeks later I received an email to come down to the office for 2nd round interviews. I went to the office 2 weeks later and interviewed with a Senior Manager and Manager.
Overall, with all the interviews I was asked mostly behavioral questions. With the first interview I had, I ended up having a lot of time to ask questions so its extremely important to be prepared.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at Deloitte (New York, NY) in February 2015.

    Interview

2 rounds back to back on consecutive days. First rounds was a 30 min behavior and a 30 min case interview. Behavior was dead easy, case interview was abit challenging for me since it was my first case interview. The case was about healthcare issues and the digitization of medical data. I guess you could go about with standard SDLC approach. I thought I bombed my first round but apparently I made through. Second round was a 45 min case interview. This time it was about some financial firm trying to synchronizing different data bases, was asked about implementation. Again, I used the SDLC approach and I thought it was all right.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ monthsinterviewed at Deloitte (New York, NY).

    Interview

Applied online. Two weeks later recruiter called requesting a phone interview. It went well and I moved forward to my 2nd phone interview with a senior manager. I feel like it went well too. Was told I'd definitely hear back either way regarding a decision and never did. The pros - they are very accommodating with scheduling interviews around your current priorities. The con - never heard back and being kept in limbo for months afterwards. Overall, I felt the interviews were easy and not intimidating as one would perceive of a BiG 4 firm. Just be prepared to give solid examples of your experience and link them to the job applied to.

    Interview Questions

    • Pretty standard STAR questions. Lots of questions about forecasting experience, accruals etc. typical accounting/finance jargon.   Answer Question

    Application

I applied through college or university – interviewed at Deloitte (New York, NY) in January 2015.

    Interview

I applied through my school career site. I was invited for a interview and there were two people that interviewed me. Each for 30 minutes. It was a pretty easy interview, not what I was expecting. They talked about their jobs and how they got to doing what they do. They ask questions about your resume and things that you have done. I think they were really looking at your personality. For the most part, they invite people back with certain GPAs and a certain amount of intern experience. So they know you have the qualifications, they just want you to know whether or not you're a right fit. I loved my interviewers, I felt that they were genuinely interest in me which is the reason why I choose to go with Deloitte as opposed to KPMG (i got a offer from them as well).

I applied online. The process took 6+ weeksinterviewed at Deloitte (New York, NY) in January 2015.

    Interview

They asked me fit based questions and then situational stuff. We met at their office in New York. We talked about both of our backgrounds and then went into more resume and technical questions. The interviewer was nice for the most part but could be harsh at times. Overall I think it went well and wasn't too bad of an interview. Some of the questions asked were interesting.

    Interview

just through campus recruit, on campus interview with 2 managers and then went to NYC for the second round interview. there would be a pre interview dinner for each interview. second round interview is more relaxed, the first is full of behavior questions.

    Interview Questions

    • second round interview, just very relax. one partner like to ask can you tell me more about your experience in XXX, not specific question. other questions like leadership style, teamwork experience.
you should definitely think about good questions to ask. sometimes the partners only ask 15 mins or few questions, or other time is for you to ask question.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Deloitte (New York, NY) in October 2014.

    Interview

Networked with a HR, and then had a phone interview. More conversational, just talk about preference and current status. One weeks later got invited to onsite interview in NY office. Had two 30 minutes interview with audit partners. The interviews are really laid back. Just went over my resume and talked about some points that the interviewers interested about. In the evening, had a social event with the current employees. After one week got the offer.
