Interviewed Aug 2010 in Philadelphia, PA (took 3 weeks)
The interview process was easy, however, I didn't have much interview experience - so didn't do well. Deloitte is a great company and left me very positive impression

Interviewed Nov 2008 in Washington, DC (took 1+ week)
Very long process for interview as compared to others. I enjoyed the process as 1-1 interview and panel interviews are interesting as you get to see who is the real decision maker on whether your hired. Its easy to tell, and ITS not partners all of the time....

Interviewed Oct 2009 in Minneapolis, MN (took 2 weeks)
2 cases for two days. Third was onsite. The cases were pretty straightforward and the interview was relaxed. They sent information on preparation for the interview slightly ahead of the interview. Review case studies before the interview to understand managerial accounting. The interviewer said they can immediately tell if you are a fit.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Washington, DC (took 5 weeks)
The entire process was very professional and efficient. I applied online and was contacted right away for a short phone interview with a recruiter. I then was asked to another phone interview with a senior manager. Finally, I was invited to a 2 hour session where I was interviewed by 3 people, including the head and director of the practice. I was given a case study which was somewhat difficult. I knew I would get a case study and was told it would be federal case, but during the interview I was given a business case which threw me off a bit. I was not offered a position but the experience interviewing with a large company was very valuable.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Atlanta, GA (took 3 weeks)
The interview process consisted of two telephone rounds and then two on-site case interviews. The first telephone interview was behavioral. The second telephone interview was technical. The first case interview was technical. The second case interview was strategy. The HR manager was very easy to communicate and coordinate with. The cases were similar to the ones posted online on the website.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in London, England (United Kingdom) (took 6 weeks)
The first interaction was with the recruitment team. I got a call from the human resources team and was asked to give my salary expectations, other places I had applied to.
The first interview was a face to face one with a senior consultant. The questions were
1) What are you doing now?
2) What are the 5 things that are challenging the industry
3) What are the root cause analysis tools
4) Explain how you used any of these tools in a project
5) A CEO asks you to help out with a specific problem. How would you go about it?
6) Why Deloitte
7) Can you explain a process in the the client industry
8) why dont you look for something in the software consulting division of deloitte
My impressions were that the consultant was extremely good at asking probing questions and asessing the skills objectively
Susequently, i was scheduled for the next stage which consisted of 2 interviews, one with a manager and another with a partner. Prior to the manager interview, i was given a case and was asked to write a communication based on the facts of the case explaining key features of a new system to all employees. I was also given another case to analyze and make recommendations on a flip chart. The manager asked me questions on the case.
I was also asked how i would use my specific skills, and what i thought of a recent merger in the industry and what were the challenges facing the industry. I was aslo asked if i had any questions
This was followed by the partner interview where he introduced himself, asked me about my biggest achievement, challenges facing the industry, what was my experience in the industry and if i had any questions

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Washington, DC (took 3 days)
I was a referral from a current employee. First an HR Recruiter from the company contacts you and then asks about basic requirements: salary range, why Deloitte, why your interest in the position, etc. Next they send you to a specific Practice which has the need and a manager from that practice reaches you on a phone interview. This is both a screening as well as a Q&A for you to learn more about the position and the practice. If this screening goes well, then the next step is a half-day of face-to-face interviews within the practice.

Interviewed May 2010 in Chicago, IL (took 3 weeks)
Interviewing went well until I sailed through the last process to find out they had hired for all the available positions in my speciality so they couldn't make me an offer. However the travel reimbursement has been awful, I interviewed in May and still haven't been paid.
