After the screening, a numerical and verbal test must be completed. These are standard tests and were easier than the tests used by KPMG. It is advised to practice for the tests in advance. PKF and Deoitte use the same test provider. After passing the numerical and verbal tests you are invited for a competency-based interview with a manager. This is a very tough and thorough interview and for each question you need to give 2 examples. After that interview you are invited to the assessment centre which lasts 1 entire day. You have another competency-based interview, need to prepare a case study, you have 2 interviews with managers to whom you need to explain your findings from the case study. You are invited for lunch, meet members of the department and have an interview with the partner.

I had 2 interviews back to back with one tax partner and an HR manager. Overall, not too difficult questions, the tax partner was very relaxed and we talked most of the time. The HR manager, however, ran through a list of prepared questions, which was more formal.

After two separate 30 minute interviews on campus, I was invited to a Dinner followed by a day at the office. At the office there were 3 small 15 minute interviews as well as a lunch with recent hires.

Everyone was nice during the interview, but the HR did not respond until I call her 2 weeks after the interview. I don't mind rejection, but I didn't like how they simply ignored me after the on-site interview.

Was very intimidated, but found tax partner I interviewed with to be very nice and comfortable to chat with. Just had interview, so not sure if I'll get offer yet, but went well. He asked a few situational questions, but mostly we just talked about how to do well in school and what being in tax was like.

I interviewed with a manager,a senior manager and a partner. All interviewers are really nice. I had several behavior questions for manager. The environment with senior manager and partner are not formal as I expect. Questions include: Give an example on how you meet a tight deadline. Give an example on how you achieve the goal when your teammate does not get along well with you, or have conflict.

It was the standard on campus interview mostly dealing with background and generally see how you handle a social conversation. I got along great with the partner interviewing me and he even told me on the way out "Don't worry. You did great and said all the right things." Then a little over a week later I got an email telling me I didn't make it to the next round. I'm perplexed to say the least. If he was going to pay the usual "We'll call you" lip service he could have just done that and not gone as far with his compliments as he did. So I can only assume there was something else in play that I don't know about...

A meet and greet the night before the interview at a local restaurant to become acquainted with the company and their people. Interview the following day with a Partner. Very down to earth guy. Interview was mostly me asking him questions about the job, himself, etc. No behavioral questions or anything like that. A great experience.

There were around 5 rounds of different skills test.Difficulty level was moderate and not too easy or too tough.I got stuck in the Microsoft Excel 2007 test,because I had a working knowledge of Excel-2003,they asked very silly questions.

Interviewing me was one representative from HR and one from the tax department of the company. The questions consisted mostly of the standard ones e.g describe yourself, why are you intrested in working at deloitte, and so on.
Despite not getting an offer I am very pleased with the interview and the reception I got from the representatives. They seemed genuinely interested in me and my background and went to great length to describe the position and the organisation to me. After reciving word I would not get the job they gave me feedback on my interview performance and why I didn't get a job offer.
