Interviewed Mar 2011 in McLean, VA (took 2 months)
Mostly behavioral interview. Remember a time when...kind of questions. I would recommend coming up with canned responses in advance for all the typical questions. Time you were challenged, time you overcame adversity, time you motivated another person, etc. Also got asked what I was proudest about on my resume. That said, GPA is the most important thing to them when they look for an intern. So if you don't have an amazing GPA, you ought to consider the other firms before Deloitte as they may not give you the consideration you deserve. They are however, very nice and honest. They don't just tell you that you will play kickball and go to Lady Gaga concerts like other firms do.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in Arlington, VA (took 2 weeks)
I conducted 2 interviews with Deloitte. The first consisted of a one-on-one interview in which we discussed my skills and experience, primarily those on my resume. We discussed some of the types of contracts the company generally work on. The next interview consisted of a group case study, an individual case study, and 2 one-on-one interviews about my experience, motivation and personality.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Washington, DC (took a day)
It was very by the book. Asked questions about different life, school, and professional experiences. There was a healthy mixture of the three. The interviewer was young and a recent graduate. very comfortable setting and did not make you feel as though you were on trial. Described the duties of the job and what would be expected of you.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Washington, DC (took 2 days)
I submitted my resume and within the week I got an e-mail for a phone interview (which was also conducted within the week). The phone interview lasted about 15 minutes, and I only did fair, but a few days later I got offered to by flown to DC for the final interview. Two 30-45 minutes interviews (one case study one personality) and one shorter 15 minute interview. I left thinking I did decent, but didn't get the job. However, the entire process ended up being really fun and everyone was extremely nice and supportive--even though I was super-nervous.

Interviewed by two senior Data Analytics Associates. Really chill men. They asked a few technical questions. Other than that, it was basic interview questions. They really wanted to hear questions from you and see if you are a person they want to work with. HR was very nice. They got back to me in about two weeks after I followed up with them. Just make sure you interview for a position which you know something about. If you are not an IT person, don't go for an IT position.

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Washington, DC (took 2 weeks)
I applied for a job that I felt very well qualified for, both in terms of quantitative skills and substantive knowledge. For this reason, my resume spoke for itself and I didn't really get grilled by the four interviewers who each met separately with me. It was probably the most casual interview I have ever been a part of. After the day of interviewing, I receieved a call from the recruiter stating that I was asking for more money than they initially anticipated handing out for a senior consultant, and that I would need to meet with a director who would best decide what level to bring me in at.
That happened the following week. The director repeatedly told me that "this is not an interview - the four people you interviewed with already like you" and that he just needed to meet me to know exactly how to use me. Despite it not being an interview, he prodded into my background and thinking much more than the four "real" interviewers did. Depending on how well you deal with confrontation, this may or may not bother you. I personally enjoyed the discussion even though I did not have answers to all of the questions he was asking. He also explained that working at Deloitte requires putting in more hours than my current job, and painted a slightly different picture of the work/like balance at Deloitte than the previous four interviewers.
In the end Deloitte made an for me to come in on their Specialist track as a Specialist Master.

Reason for Declining
Looking at Glassdoor's salaries for Specialist Master positions at Deloitte as a benchmark, they were definitely bringing me in on the low side, and the money was just not worth making the move.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Washington, DC (took 3 days)
Recruited through University office. Interview on-campus, then I was asked to go into the office for the day. Mostly a behavioral interview, with a few basic valuation questions. One interviewer was a little intense, but I think he just wanted to see how I acted under pressure. Very, very nice people, and definitely doesn't appear (too) competitive, unlike my experiences at other big 4 and consulting firms.
