Interview Details – After sending a resume to them I received a request to talk to their recruiter. The recruiter does the initial screening and then passes you along to the department manager if you pass his criteria. The department manager will interview you for about 30 minutes. If you pass those questions you start talking to a few people in the department to get a feel for the job itself.
Interview Question – The future peers generally ask the usual questions about the best and worst of past clients and how would you have changed the situation if you had to do it all over again. Answer Question
No Offer – Interviewed in Herndon, VA Jan 2010 – Reviewed Mar 30, 2013
Interview Details – Very unstructured. Expect many levels of interview with a focus on past results that indicate your ability to provide value to the company. This will likely be a long and drawn out process. Note that this is based on my experience as a hiring manager for the last few years.
Interview Question – What was your last complete failure? Answer Question

Interview Details –
Initial phone interview - went almost 70 minutes with quite a few questions on management style. I felt the interviewer was looking for someone who would manhandle people - make their lives miserable (not my style) vs provide leadership to a group/company that CLEARLY needs leadership.
I felt the interview went well - however, the sense that they were looking for more of a "monkey" rather than a leader settled in my mind, and I was ultimately right as I never heard back - the interviewer seemed to always be tripping over herself at best - perhaps even reading her questions - odd.
Interview Question – There were none - just basic questions that seemed borderline sophomoric.. Answer Question

Easy if you are coming from AOL. Employees transferred back and forth to claim bonuses for upper management. If you are coming from outside then standard interview, as AOL has no available employees to meet bonus requirments.
Bargin on salary as they will pay high saliries to start and then dump/harass you, to entice you to leave) when an AOL employee opens up to collect bonuses.
Highly prejudice team, and HR has no power or answers!
Interview Question – No difficult questions if you are applying for a position that you have experience in. View Answer
Negotiation Details – Short and fast as they just needed a body. VP and most of the people that already left knew the most. Won't last long.

Interview Details – I sent a resume in for a position in operations and was contacted about a week later by a recruiter who asked the basic questions (salary, etc), and then scheduled an onsite interview with a VP. The interview went well, but I was not offered a position. I was asked lots of questions about how I would approach first 90 days, and that sort of thing...the kind of stuff that a director should be prepared to answer.

Interview Details – A short phone conversation with the HR person, followed by a phone interview with the manager of the specific department. Then they called for an in-person interview where I met with the different individuals in the specific group I was going to be working in. Everyone was super nice.

No Offer – Interviewed in Reston, VA Apr 2010 – Reviewed Dec 16, 2011
Interview Details – I applied through a 3rd party site, flew there and paid for a hotel all of my own expense. The interviewers told me I was not qualified for the position upon examining my resume in their hand. They told me I should look into a different position with a lower pay series. I expressed interest, answered all questions and was hurried out of the room. They did not call me to even say thank you but we are not interested. A very shady operation.
