Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 4+ weeks)
Initial phone interview with a few HR personality questions that did not take more than 15-20 minutes and also confirmation about resume details/background. Then there was a follow up email to say they would be in contact. Within less than a week I got a call for an on site interview. Initial perceptions were that the campus is gorgeous (fairly new) and the security guard and receptionist were very personable. The panel was about 4 people asking me fairly general questions about aseptic technique, cGMP and situational questions. Took about 3 weeks after that for me to get an offer.

Interviewed Apr 2012 in Morris Plains, NJ (took 2 weeks)
The position was a senior management position troubleshooting operations issues, managing system roll out and upgrades, and reporting directly to corporate for a major new pharma product.
Initial communications with the recruiter were always prepared in advance and with warm introductions. Early screening was conducted by phone with two levels of recruiters, followed by a phone interview with the employer hiring manager, followed by 1:1 interviews with the employer panel of co-workers, senior management team, and hiring manager.
The company has a cutting edge product and a world-class supply chain operation, driven by a recent upgrade of a major ERP system. Any candidate must be confident in all of those topics to make it to the final round of interviews.
The hiring manager flew from Seattle to New Jersey to meet for the interview at the IMF where the position would be based, reporting back to corporate in Seattle, and working with colleagues at other IMFs in the USA. I personally appreciated not having to travel to the employer - especially after I was not offered the position - and they offered to travel to me for the interview.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Morris Plains, NJ (took 2 weeks)
There were 5 members in the panel who were QA associates. 4 out of 5 were unprofessional and hostile during an interview. I learned from them that those same 4 had less than 2 yrs of experience in the field compared to I with >10 yrs. Also they had joined Dendreon less than 6 months prior. I guessed they must have been threatened by my years of professional experience as well as academic qualifications. If they had made an offer I would have declined.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Seal Beach, CA (took a day)
I initially applied to Dendreon online right before the Seal Beach plant opened. Approximately, 3 weeks later I got a telephone call, which was really an interview. The interview went well and about a week or two later I received an email stating that Dendreon wanted to conduct a face to face interview. I arrived there and waited for a while, but I didn't mind. I talked to two different people--a manager and supervisor. The interview went well and the manager seemed very interested in having me come on board. They asked if I was interested in working nights/weekends and told me it actually paid more. I said it was fine. The interview consisted of generic questions, no biggies. At one point it felt pretty informal and like I was having a normal conversation. They said they would contact me within 2 to 3 weeks. Needless to say, they contacted me 3 or 4 days later and declined me.
I was sadly disappointed, but the interview experience was worth the while.

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Atlanta, GA (took a day)
Since I had primarily worked in academic labs, the interviewers really questioned whether I understood the difference between academic and industry labs. They really wondered if the repetitiveness of quality control was what I wanted since it is different than academia. They mostly talked about the job and did not ask a lot of questions of me.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Union City, GA (took 3 weeks)
The interview process was used tojudge how well you operate under pressure. Manager ask off the wall questions and give long silent stares to rattle you. Some interviewers seem to have a nepolian complex but if you can get past all that and stay calm you should be fine. Interview process is very unorthodox.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Seal Beach, CA (took a day)
I was not given any indication about the time frame for this interview so I scheduled out two hours of my day and arrived 10minutes early and asked for my contact person. I was escorted by my contact person to a room where a panel of four individuals introduced themselves and directed me to my seat. My contact did not remain as an interviewer.
Introductions were brief, names only, no titles. All were dressed in Friday casual/week attire.
Question 1: So tell us about yourself?
Remaining questions were brief and performance or personality related such as "give an example of a time when you had a confrontation with a fellow employee or customer and what you did?" or "tell us about a time when you worked in a team."
The interview with four individuals lasted 15minutes even with my questions for the company. I was informed that I could leave my resume, references and contact with "contact person" and that I would hear back in two to three weeks.
I sent a thank you to each member of the panel and my contact person. I did not however receive a phone call three weeks later.
I wish they had said, rather, that "if you are chosen as a candidate you will hear back from "contact" person in two to three weeks similarly I didn't feel that the panel really want to be conducting interviews in the first place.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Seal Beach, CA (took 3 weeks)
I applied for the Cell Processing Associate position during the month of May and received an email shortly afterwards to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview came and went. It was very simple and straight-forward. The interviewer asked about previous experience and what would make me a good candidate for this position. About two weeks later I received an e-mail for a face to face interview. I wasnt told that it would be a panel interview though. I lived about 6 hours away from the interview site so they actually paid for a flight and reimbursed me for the car rental and any other fees incurred getting to the interview. The panel interview was very well organized and professional. They asked why I would be a good candidate and to explain how my previous experiences apply towards this position.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Seal Beach, CA (took 3 days)
I was asked a list of questions ranging from what do you know about the company, how did you hear of the job opening, what is your desired salary, what shift do you prefer to work. The interviewer basically asked me all these questions and then asked me if I had any. I asked him a few questions regarding the position I was interviewing for and how much growth would I be able to reach say that they decide to hire me for this particular position, etc.
