After working within adapt counseling, myself and a colleague were charged with handling several patients within the local county facility for a determination of outpatient or inpatient treatment. We worked with both patients to examine and determine their cognitive status and determine threat to society based on answers provided to questions. We chatted about the patient, and made a determination following the initial clinical assessment.
