Describe how you would diagnose and repair a printing

I went over the basic diagnostic steps. If in a Windows domain verify the service is running, if there is an error in the queue, in Linux verify CUPS, on the client side verify you can ping the printer if network, drivers, reinstall, etc., etc., etc. It was a very back and forth type of question, I said a few things, he then changed the scenario and asked more. This went for about ten minutes before we went onto another topic.
