Interviewed Jul 2010 (took 3 days)
The process is good, skill tests conducted were of basic level. Interviewers had good command over the topics. Human Resource Managers contacted me through a third-party agency. I was given a specific day to appear for the first technical round. The interviewer questioned me on credit related topics. Post the technical interview HR chatted me for a few minutes.
I got another call for a case study and final interview test. The case study was quite tricky though I was able to fully understand it.
The case study was tested by two Global managers and it went very well.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in Mumbai (India) (took a day)
The process started with a pre-placement talk about the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) center of Deutsche Bank in Mumbai. This was followed by a written test based on analytical skills. Questions were similar to management exams, however they were pretty difficult for the time allotted. There was a general essay as well.
Based on the test and the candidates' resumes, a preliminary shortlist was created. Each shortlisted candidate was assigned a mentor for preparations for the interview. The "mentor" did actually evaluate the candidate rather than help him.
The final interviews consisted of 2 to 3 rounds, each comprising of a different panel (of 3 interviewers). The questions mainly comprised of analytical puzzles and various HR questions. A justification on joining the finance industry and DB was demanded.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Jacksonville, FL (took a day)
First round is very basic conversation with the HR. It went pretty well, and I didn't even feel she's screening off candidates. Second round is phone interview again with the manager of the department. He has heavy Indian accent and the conversation didn't flow very smooth. Didn't get called for an on-site.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Jacksonville, FL (took 1 week)
The initial contact with Deutsche Bank was in response a job announcement through on campus recruitment. The HR office conducted a pseudo phone interview asking for salary expectations up front. The 1:1 interview was fairly informal with basic behavioral interview questions being asked. Personal contacts working within DB are happily employed however the compensation is low compared to other similar positions at competing firms.
