Interview

Its you're standard sales interview they ask you if you are a dog because they know you're going to have to sell people products that they don't want or need. They will tell you how much you can make their but it is a Commission based job so don't expect to make what they tell you that you will. Just come off as really happy go lucky and willing to do anything to close a sale and you will be fine.

    Interview

Basic interview questions with a lot follow up questions on those same questions. You will be asked questions that you answered on the assessment test. There may or may not be a second interview with the district manager.

They sit you down and have you talk about the usual why sales do this sale role play stuff and promise you SOO much money if you try hard and get hungry, problem is not everywhere has the same flow and there are some stores where if you don't make commission you get written up and others where if you don't make commission its run of the mill normal

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took a weekinterviewed at Diamond Wireless (Cerritos, CA).

    Interview

Hiring process is pretty simple. If you know someone who sold phones before, you could pretty much get in. They like to take the advice of their employees.

    Interview Questions

    • Not really any difficult or unexpected questions, They will always try to throw you for a loop in a sales interview.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

There wasnt a negotiation phase. You are hired a minimum wage and paid either Commission for the pay period if you exceed $600 basically, or hourly rate; Whichever is higher.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Diamond Wireless (San Antonio, TX) in February 2012.

    Interview

This company still uses paper applications (in select cases you may be able to apply online via craigslist), which is rather unexpected, and they expect a resume in conjunction with the application that you should return in-person and dressed professionally, or your probability of consideration goes drastically down. (Dress code here is Shirt and Tie. Suits are not required, but are welcome.) Should you receive a call for an interview, it's (usually) two tiered. Your first interview will be with the store manager. If you pass, your second will be with the district manager, usually within the week, both in person, and both at the location for which you will be working. Questions are designed to be probing and vague (moreso than usual), in order to allow you to really showcase yourself, because they hire only Full-Time.

Advice for your interview: This company has a very competitive, "money-hungry" atmosphere. Answer from that perspective. See the sample question and answer.

    Interview Questions

    Negotiation

There is no negotiation. You are Full-time on Commission only.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Diamond Wireless (Colorado Springs, CO) in April 2011.

    Interview

First submit you application to the store manger or person of contact. If you fit a need they will have you interview with the store manager and district manager at the same time. General sales and goal questions along with scenarios/ role plays. If that process goes well they will offer you a position on the spot.

    Interview Questions

    • When they give you a "product" and have you sell them the product as a role play.   Answer Question
