Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ monthsinterviewed at Dick's Sporting Goods (Kansas City, MO) in October 2012.

Interview

Be prepared to talk to a number of people at multiple levels in different departments. Sports minded, customer oriented people are who they look for. If you don't like retail, people or change.. then don't apply

Interview Questions

  • None come to mind, but always keep the customer in mind   Answer Question

Negotiation

Not much negotiation, you tell them where you would like to start and they tell you what they're offering....

    Application

The process took a dayinterviewed at Dick's Sporting Goods in October 2009.

    Interview

Typical behavioral interview. I interviewed with both the recruiter and a current manager. I was a finance major interested in the stock market. This was for a regular management trainee. I don't think I was a good fit for the role, but I tried my best to interview anyways because I needed a job. Did not get an offer. 2 months later I work for a brokerage company where I belong.
