I applied online and the process took 3+ weeks - interviewed at Digitas.
Interview Details – Applied online and was contacted be a recruiter. Has a 20 minute phone interview and was invited to come into the office. Interviewed by 4 team members that asked me about my background and cultural fit. The process was professional and they are a great company, but ultimately someone with more experience was chosen.
Interview Question – What is one of your favorite recent AD campaigns Answer Question
I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Digitas in August 2012.
Interview Details – Applied in February 2012 and was called by the Boston office two weeks later. The recruiter held a short impromptu interview on the spot and then asked my preference for an office. I requested Chicago and never heard from Digitas again. I contacted the recruiter (phone and email) and received no further information. It was extremely unprofessional.
Interview Question – Why are you interested in marketing? Answer Question
I applied through college or university and interviewed at Digitas.
Interview Details – I applied through my university's career site and was contacted within 2 weeks later for an on-site interview. It last about 30 min. with an HR representation and it was really laidback and conversational. I unfortunately did not get a second round interview, but it was a great experience.
Interview Question – What digital campaigns did you really like? Answer Question
Interviewed at Digitas
Interview Details – Phone & in person interviews. Very friendly, and relaxed, mostly want you to speak to your previous experience, and how that will make you a fit for the position.
Interview Question – What projects have you worked on in the past? Answer Question
Reason for Declining – Took another offer
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 1+ week - interviewed at Digitas.
Interview Details – The questions asked of me were pretty expected -- no curve balls. I was asked to describe a recent recommendation that I made to the client, and to describe my rationale. Other than that, standard questions regarding my media and supervising skill set.
Interview Question – Again, no curve balls. The interviewer was clearly just interested in understanding my skills and personality. Answer Question
Very Easy Interview
I applied online and the process took 2 days - interviewed at Digitas in December 2009.
Interview Details – Applied online, interviewed with key team members over the course of 2 separate visits. They were very thorough and honest about the opportunities and challenges. The culture was very open, very driven and professional, but not hectic or stuffy. The hiring process was very smooth. After I accepted the offer letter via an online app, a hard copy was at my door within days. The background check was very thorough. When I arrived for my first day, everything was set up and waiting. The company seems well run internally.
Interview Question – What do you know about the history of the company? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Engaged in some negotiation. I would advise people to be honest with themselves and their skillset as to end up in a position that they want to be in vs. one they think they might want but in reality may not be ready for. In terms of salary, they will work with you within reason.
Very Easy Interview
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 2 months - interviewed at Digitas in February 2010.
Interview Details –
The first interview was well scheduled, but the subsequent interviews kept getting postponed, re-scheduled at last minute. There was confusion as to what position and group I was interviewing for. I had sent out emails to get any feedback or response. I suggest you keep records of the exact description / offer you are applying for.
The people where GREAT! Extremely talented and engaging, thought I got a feeling that it's not void of politics. Offices are clean and calm, beautiful environment.
Interview Question – If I prefer doing the work myself or managing others Answer Question
Reason for Declining – Low offer. Employees I talk to tried too hard to be optimistic about their enjoyment of the working environment.
Very Easy Interview
I applied online and the process took 2+ weeks - interviewed at Digitas.
Interview Details – One phone interview to go over job specifics and see if I was interested with the understanding that my portfolio would then be forwarded to the executive creative director. The recruiter seemed rushed and asked the most basic of questions regarding my background and skill set. I never heard back from the recruiter and found out later on that this recruiter is no longer with the company.
Interview Question – There were no behavioral questions or any kind of unexpected questions. Answer Question
I applied online and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Digitas.
Interview Details –
I was told I was going to receive an offer after the interview process went very well. I was very excited about the opportunity, but after a week still no offer...
Unbeknownst to me, all analyst hires were put on hold after needing to balance the budget.
A. Why even interview candidates if there are budgetary concerns?
B. Don't tell candidates they will expect an offer under these circumstances.
C. There needs to be more communication between HR and the individual practices. I felt as though neither parties were on the same page throughout this process.
Imagine being verbally told you will expect an offer then weeks later having it rescinded. Not a good feeling, and not good for company's reputation.
Interview Question – Relatively easy interview process. The usual "get to know you" questions, walking through resume, etc. A few job-specific questions. Answer Question
