Interviewed May 2011 in Miami, FL (took 2 days)
They mainly ask questions to see if you can handle the hectic work environment, and then questions about your favorite Disney characters, and experiences just to get a feel for your personality and if you will fit into the work place.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took a day)
I applied to the Disney Store in person and got a call about a week later from the store manager to schedule an interview. There were two other people at my interview, although I did see the manager interviewing a group before us that consisted of about ten people. The interview was simple enough, basic questions about why we wanted to work at Disney and our work experience. It lasted about twenty minutes. Later that night I received a call from the store saying they needed me to fill out more paperwork, which I went and filled out that night, and I was offered a job two days later.

Negotiation Details
I was offered the job at above minimum wage and was happy with that so I didn’t try to negotiate. However, I’m sure negotiations would vary from store to store.
Other Details
I applied In-Person and the interview consisted of a Group/Panel Interview and a Background Check.

Interviewed Aug 2011 (took a day)
The interview was relatively casual, which is good to make the interviewee feel more at ease. The interview began with the person in charge of the department, and the conversation was more related to the interviewee's relevant work experience and also what the position entails. The second interview on the same day was with the recruiting director who asked a couple of scenario questions and wanted to generally assess if the interviewee had the span of experience and qualifications for the position and to be at Disney.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Glendale, CA (took 3 weeks)
Interviewed for a position with DCP as a financial analyst. Went through 5 challenging interviews and enjoyed meeting the individuals within the organization. Didn't end up getting the position but I enjoyed experience and that I was "runner up" in the decision. I thought I was the right candidate and 90% sure I would receive an offer. DCP attracts the right talent IMO.

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 1 week)
People were very nice at the interview, no extremely hard or weird questions. However, did not receive any notification of outcome after interview, called HR several times and they kept telling me they were still deciding even after 2 weeks. Very unprofessional for such a great company like Disney.

Interviewed Apr 2011 (took 2 days)
There were two rounds of group interview consisting of 5-6 people. First round asked some basic questions such as past work experiences, strengths etc. They also ask you to be innovative to come up with stories and ways to promote a product to a child. Ask about Disney knowledge related questions such as favorite characters and why. Very nice interviewers, nice environment. Be positive, happy and innovative, and show that you have a passion for the brand.

Interviewed May 2011 in Glendale, CA (took 4 weeks)
first call from a HR manager, who guides you through all the whole interview process (literally, as they actually walk you to and from the buildings you are interviewing in). I was asked general questions on the phone about why i want the job, my availability and then i got some advice about who'd be interviewing me, and what they're looking for.
A week later, I interviewed with 4 different managers (hiring manager, technology manager, manager of design interactive and category manager individually, half an hour each) - all asking different questions. Another week later, I made it through to the second round - interviewed with an assistant manager and the director of the department.

Negotiation Details
I was given the impression that there was a range to negotiate but the final offer was actually lower than what I had asked for, and there was no wiggle room.

Interviewed Mar 2010 in Glendale, CA (took a day)
First, they screen you on the phone. If you pass that process they schedule in person with about 4 to 5 people. Then, they lead you on that you are a finalist and then they almost hire internally.
