Interviewed Sep 2009 (took 3 days)
Interview process ended up being a three-step process. Initially contacted by HR recruiter for a phone interview. Once approved, a longer, in-person interview was set up with the same recruiter. Then, a final interview with the hiring manager. Once hired, Disney puts everyone through a 2 day seminar covering company culture and the basic expectations of employees.

Interviewed Feb 2011 (took 4+ weeks)
I attended a college career fair. I stopped by the booth and after speaking with a recruiter was urged to apply. The first interview was 1:1 on campus and very conversational. I was advanced to a second interview via phone with HR, but unfortunately they were looking for immediate availability and I needed a few months before I could start. I haven't heard back in over a month but I'm assuming they filled the position with another candidate.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Burbank, CA (took a day)
Applied online through Disney website; received email within a week. I had a first round phone interview lasting about 30 minutes. Disney HR for Parks & Resorts is in Florida, even though job was in Burbank/Glendale. Interviewer was very friendly, opened with the typical, "Tell me about yourself?" and "why do you want to work for Disney?" She explained the nature of the position, but would not discuss specifics or salary.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Orlando, FL (took 2 days)
The hiring process at Disney was very easy, however it took a long time. I filled out an application online and then I was sent an email with a link to an online interview. Basically they are looking for someone who wants to be part of a team and work hard. After the online interview was completed, I was sent another email to set up my in person interview. When I got to the Casting Center I checked in and sat in the waiting room for about 3 hours. I was called back and was placed in a job. Then I spent another hour and a half doing paperwork and getting fingerprinted.

Interviewed Jul 2009 in Burbank, CA (took 4+ weeks)
Hiring process is a bit tedious and long. There background checks and credit checks to do, which take a lot of time. Also, there are reference checks to do. Before they hire you with a letter, they also need to ensure that the salary range is okay, e.g, it fits within the salary bands of the rest of the company.

Interviewed Jan 2011 (took 2 days)
After applying online, I received an email from HR to set up an initial phone interview. This consisted of a ten minute conversation and setting a date for an in-office interview. At the office I was interviewed by three department leaders who explained the duties I would have as an intern at the office. Although we have had correspondence, I have yet to receive an offer (it has been about three weeks since my interview).

Interviewed Apr 2008 (took 1+ week)
Very informal hiring process. Never met with HR. Just met my future boss in person, his report in person and the department EVP on the phone. Then I was hired.
Negotiation Details
No negotiation. The salary was offered and I countered offered. They didn't stretch much. Also, they put me on probation for 6 months and i had the -XD in my email to denote I was a "temp." A bit insulting.
Other Details
I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Background Check.
