Interviewed Sep 2011 in Burbank, CA (took 2 weeks)
If you pass the resume period, then they believe you are qualified. If they like your resume, they will give you call where you will have an informal phone interview. If you "pass" then they will schedule a 1:1 interview. So if I would give advise, make sure your resume is "perfect."

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Anaheim, CA (took a day)
Applied online. Went through a long personality test. Then told to schedule an interview. Arrived and watched a brief introductory video. Then had a 1:1 interview. Basic questions about why you want to work there and past experience and situations. Told me to wait a few minutes, then told me I wouldn't be continuing. Told me I didn't smile enough and wasn't enthusiastic enough, and almost too professional. Really? I guess those years of working as a professional in IT killed my personality.
The interviewer was kind of cold, hard to read. I'm a person that kind of plays off other people's personality. So it was difficult for me to be bubbly and energetic in the atmosphere I was given. Perhaps they do that on purpose to see who can break through it? The woman also did a lot of "mhm, yeah, uh-huh" as I was giving my answers, really threw me off a few times.

Interviewed Mar 2009 in Burbank, CA (took 2 months)
The interview process, although not difficult at all, took too long. They ask non-complicated questions. They just want to make sure you can do the job and will work hard.

When offered the job and told the salary, ask for $5K more. $5K is not much at all but it shows that you are a negotiator and not just a passive employee who says yes right away.
Other Details
I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Burbank, CA (took a day)
Applied online through Disney website; received email within a week. I had a first round phone interview lasting about 30 minutes. Disney HR for Parks & Resorts is in Florida, even though job was in Burbank/Glendale. Interviewer was very friendly, opened with the typical, "Tell me about yourself?" and "why do you want to work for Disney?" She explained the nature of the position, but would not discuss specifics or salary.

Hiring process is a bit tedious and long. There background checks and credit checks to do, which take a lot of time. Also, there are reference checks to do. Before they hire you with a letter, they also need to ensure that the salary range is okay, e.g, it fits within the salary bands of the rest of the company.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Anaheim, CA (took a day)
I applied during the summer. I got an email to take a web based interview online and passed. Then scheduled an interview the next week at the Casting Center. The interview lasted about 10 minutes. I was told at the end of the interview that I would be informed at the end of the week whether I would get the job or not. I received a letter in the mail a few days later saying I didn't get the job.

Interviewed Jan 2010 in Glendale, CA (took 2+ weeks)
I have a history doing the type of projects they were looking for, infact the hiring manager had told the recruiter to look for people that had done a similar project at another studio. My resume was clear that I had done the project with the same software they were using but due to the HR system they were using my resume was never even forwarded to the hiring manager. I met her at an industry function at the bar.

Interviewed Dec 2009 in Burbank, CA (took 4+ weeks)
Pretty standard process. One interview at school followed by a "Super Saturday" type day at their offices. 4 people interviewed, I am the only one who received an offer to my knowledge. Some technical questions about portfolio theory etc. but nothing too complicated. Met with about 8 people including the Pension Fund Head and the Head of Corporate Treasury.
